This is the second time I've fruited Pseudoaztecorum, both times with passive systems. Last time was a tub outside that produced about 4 fruits. This time, so far, only one fruit. On the plus side, the fruit is very solid! This round I tried to take it easier, CVG+fuel pellets. It took over 3 months to go from spore to fruit. These are unique looking mush, the coloration of the pileus and the way the lamellae protrude plus the bruising is a blue/green. Not particularly hard to grow, just takes patience. Hopefully I'll get a print and some clones too.

Pseudoaztecorum also apparently makes active mycelium too, that is next on my list to test.

They are pretty caps but i dont see aton of info on them :(

They are fruiting somewhere in the mid 60F.

Well, the 2nd "flush" made another really dense fruit, this time, even bigger and w/PEesque bumps on it. The mush weighed in at 35g wet. I took some samples for cloning and it looked like it was dropping spores so maybe a proper print, followed by swabbing.

The above mush started at 35g wet, dried to 3.9g. The other site suggests dosage ranges from 2-4g. :)

Sometimes, I think she does this just to mess w/me.....

Mother Nature showing off with two mush popping at once. This sub is in a plastic pot covered with soil out in the greenhouse. After the momma possum was done using it, I dumped a gallon of water on it and a couple days later, presto. I'll start dumping some water on the sub every few days now and hopefully get more!

The Malabar I grew Not long Ago had root like fibers and were tough to harvest, but nothing like that, wonderful looking and HUGE fruits Congrats.  I enjoy seeing the outside "scars" on the caps, grew some KO's outside last year with wonderful scarring.  Nothing beats natural evaporation from rains (Or me spraying the High Grass in the morning) and OPEN Air.  Freebie King Blue.

Looking good. Semps are hopefully going to be fruited that way as I can't quite get it. Or need to wait for warmer weather.

Above mushroom was 32.7g wet, dried down to 5.6g. It was so dense I had to tear the cap into 8 pieces and the stem into 4 to get them to dry completely.

Yoshi that's awesome.....big dense exotic (to us anyway) tropical mushrooms.....glad the "grinner" left the barrel although it did look like a really nice opossum apartment......

They are getting close, I'm optimistic for a print, definitely going to try for clones. They've gotten so large, they won't all fit in the photo.

Heavy fruits you have there and those dense caps top to bottom instead of the width.  Wow, crazy looking they are, Awesome job.  Those thick stipes too, going to do well... on the scale.  I apologize for the scarred fruit, and WE did have a good time.
