Yeah, I remember that coming up periodically over the years (with MHRB, quinoa, etc.). If it worked unambiguously well enough to be worth doing then we'd all know about it by now, and would be doing it.

Yeah golly's technique is amazing. I have a couple of batches that I have lasted 6 years and still going strong. I feel its much cleaner and less stomach discomfort and yawns vs when you ingest the mushroom material.

Now I'm wondering if anyone has tried this with Pan cyan species. I tried it once and it did not work and I ended up wasting 10g of pan cyan material... BUT I also may have screwed up the process and reduced the honey for too long because the consistency became like hard candy when I put it in the freezer and even after thawing it was so hard to scoop out...
Another problem with the pan cyan species was that the spores are very dark so the end honey mixture looked dark green as opposed to the golden color when I tried it with normal cubensis so it didn't look as appetizing.
