Hey what's good... just letting the jars cure, but I wanted to show a very thrifty way to make some pretty clean Rosin without screens.  I took a break from Rosin for almost a year, I was dabbing WAY too much, and I like changing up the way I consume Cannabis.  Anyway, here is quick way to make some wonderful Squish Oil whether you have plates or your wife's Straightener.

Alright, start out with some good material, these smaller buds are perfect for squishing and have a ton of trichomes on them.  I went through my jar and grabbed all the small nugs which was just over 5 grams of material.  The strain is OGK from Reserva Privada.  The smoke is amazing, the squish is, and so is Dry herb vaping it.  No matter the consumption method, it's just tasty AF.  This is more on the Earthy side of Kush which I prefer, not that I have anything against the sourness side either.  Earthy like pre 98 Bubba, but not as pronounced.  Not many will compare to Pre 98 in my experience, and I've had MANY kushes over the years.

Now, for a pre press mold, I use a 7/8 deep socket that has never been used for anything other than Rosin Pucks.  You can use just about anything to make a puck, just make sure you can push out the puck once it's smashed in the socket or device you are using.  WARNING.... WARNING.... ok you here the Sirens... DO NOT try to squish DRY buds that are too crispy or crunchy, they have to smash up and make NO noise whatsoever.  If you can't squish them in the socket and they don't stick together solid and don't try to separate and are crunchy, don't waste your time and roll that weed up or whatever you want to do with it.  Nothing worse than trying to squish Too dry of flowers and get very minimal and you will want to CRY about your 5 grams that are not going to give you anything close to a Gram of Oil or better.  I've you are sqishing with a straightener, you will want to make 1g pucks or 1.2 at the most.  I like 2.5g pucks myself for my 3x5 plates and I can do quite a few if I want, I usually do 2 or 3 pucks at a time.  I could easily do 8 pucks at 2g each for BIG amounts, but not something I normally do.  These pucks were 2.6 each, just about perfect.  Too thick of pucks and it takes longer to get your oil and you will get more oil with the 2nd and 3rd squish.  At 2g to 2.5, I can get most of the oil first round, and definitely the second instead of having to squish 3 times for the same turnout.  Your socket should look like this.

P1140394.JPG

P1140395.JPG

P1140396.JPG

P1140397.JPG

I used a plastic spoon to smash in the bud for two pucks.  I used to use that same dewalt clamp with a straightener many years ago testing out making Rosin.  Had a ton of Outdoor material at the time and had a Blast.  So you have your two pucks, lets squish them babies.  I run my plates under 200F or 90c which is 194F.  I do slower gradual presses, I can easily embed the parchment paper squishing too fast or too Soon and it's a PITA to pick up off the Paper.

If you have trouble getting the Rosin off of the parchment, get something cold out of your freezer and put it under the Paper.  It will come off, if it's reverse, where it's shattering up like Bubble Hash Rosin does, heat up a plate in the microwave, DO NOT try to pick up that rosin in shatter form without Heat, it will get out of control quickly and get everywhere like shattered glass... trust me, patience is KEY .  That's my 2 Cents worth Ya'll.  Stay UP and Take Care!

Yessir, I'm actually doing a big Bubble Hash run this weekend (I've had bubbleman Bags for a long time).  I have an overstock of really killer material and I can't wait (My last run I did I had over 20 different strains and it was like an edible in dab form, too many and its GOOD night for a couple of hours).  I've also ran Dry Ice Kief, which is much simpler time wise and effort and great for smaller runs (or individual plants), but I have the 5-gallon 8 bag set and can run a half pound of material at a time.  Here are a few Bubble Hash Rosin pics from 2017, as you can see, it's straight glass like shatter but solventless of course.  They are making some amazing products with Rosin or Live Resin these days, it's crazy what can be accomplished, One of these harvests I'm going to go for some Diamonds.   :smoking-hookah:  Thanks for stopping In Yoshi, always enjoy your work with exotics and can't wait to see those Bama Pans.   :meditate:

Shout out to all the Cannabis Cultivators out there, been meaning to run some great shake material that's been in my second garage fridge for quite awhile now.  I'm estimating at least 8 zips, probably slightly over, but didn't overfill the 5-gallon bucket and looked Full to me.  These bags have a ton of runs on them, especially when I first bought them back in 07/08 ish... an Old buddy at the time had a BIG setup (2 Room 12K per) and back then, hardly anyone was HIP to the game really about your Trash to Melty Hash. FullMeltBubble BAYYYBEEE... well worth the Trouble!

8 Bag 5 gallon Set:  25/45/73/90/120/160/190/220.  The last run I did 4 or 5 months ago, there was gold in the 190/160.  I've never had this happen before, but I did go through a phase of growing mostly Sativa Dominant Hybrids, instead of my usual more Indica leaning.  Prior to this last run, I've never seen anything worth keeping, enjoyed the surprise and it was "different" when I first took a dab.  Took sum getting used to.

Sorry for the delay, SO much going on and I've managed to get my Likes in here and there, but not much time for the thread... uploading pics and such, but I always take plenty of shots for future work if needed.  Where we at with this... OH... right... SO the two BH washes went phenomenal, I squished the 2nd wash first since I always save the best for last, and I'm happy with the product and can't wait to test out the 1st Wash.  It's great out the Gate... but loses legs Sooner than the Primo wash would.  The taste has that concentrate flavor (similar to live resin/rosin, but unique), with the bubble hash almost chocolate after taste, and SUPER smooth, you can take Big Dabs no problem, you only get choked out form the sheer volume of Vapor (Dense Vapor BH Rosin Is).  Back to the Show!

The Last Pic is the 3rd squish of the Screen with all of the 2nd Wash Material, I probably could of folded the 37m screen and pulled more, but I'm not worried about it.  Guestimation, at least 3.5 or more of clean Rosin from probably 5g of material, I didn't weigh out the 2nd wash, I probably will with the first.  The first run is still hangin' out on cardboard in a shoebox tub waiting on me.

Current Pics, the 3rd squish of the screen is gone and was delicious.  Ya'll take ER' Easy.

Whaddup Ya'll, it's that time of year again.  I just experienced something that is shocking and it's one of those situations where you think you've seen it all growing Cannabis... YEAH.... NOT So Much!  So.... yesterday morning I noticed the OGK seedling not flipping up in the soil, I could see part of the white stem, but not the head.  I lightly move the soil around and it's just lying there "unconscious" like it needs a defib or mouth to mouth (the shell/helmet is still on, and moist soil will rot it inside out).  This thing is supposed to be getting Air by this time with NO helmet, anyway, I've removed many Caps over the years, 3 this Round of 6, not the normal, but it's no big deal so No issues with a light light scratch to get the skin removed.  This went smooth, but it still looked DONE for, about this time, I pulled up just a tad and the damn thing was plucked like a carrot.  Granted, I have a very light and fluffy soil for seedlings, but that doesn't just happen this easily, So at this point, I'm like... It's DONE.  I accidentally drop it on the floor, YEAH ALL bad news, already planning to do 5 plants (always thinking of a workaround) 2 in 7 gallon smart pots.  I pick up the seedling, and it's not limp, it's stiff and I figured, I've never tried to "replant" a seedling, usually if you have a seedling problem early on, it doesn't go well, and it's CUT bait and move on.  I decided it doesn't cost me anything to try, so I used my finger to poke a hole, set it in, padded firmly the soil up against the stem, and gave the top of the soil a misting.  I check the plant a few hours later thinking it's going to be flopped over limp and lifeless, I notice two small specs coming in, the first set of leaves, I'm like, this thing is Facking growing STRAIGHT through this trauma.  At this moment, I'm already in AWW, still expecting it to fizzle out on me, but still in disbelief this thing is powering through like a stubborn ol' donkey.  This morning, I check on seedling and it's bounced back like NO other and growing.  You can see in the picture, it was close to rotting, the Cotyledon started browning at the edge, and they will rot inside the shell, I've seen this on RARE occasions over the years.  Long story short, Plants never cease to Amaze me, I'm calling her Miracle OG, Welcome to the Family Miracle Momma.  LET'S GO!!

What a great story Mush!

I have long ago learned that I should always give every opportunity I can offer to my green friends, and accept the results good or bad.

I have myself succeeded with seedling transplant a few times, which does not make it any less awesome when it goes well....

I'm looking forward to updates as your growing season begins and continues !

The crazy thing @Arathu, is I thought similar and immediately started thinking about cloning it (cart before the horse MUCH... already putting her on a pedestal)... and I don't clone anything really, here and there, but I run through mixed genetics every cycle so it's not the Norm.  @Skywalker... something in my inner conscience told me to pick that sucker up and plant it.  Watch it turn out to be my favorite. I have had a few "mutants" over the years both were 5 headed monsters (6th node never grew and was 5 nodes (to start) instead of 6 back when I ran 6) and both were memorable, one was grown outside and the other in (Purple Crack Out GDP In).  I tell you what, I will NEVER think I know better than the plant trying to survive, no matter how it turns out, I'm blessed and humbled by the experience.   :meditate:

Alright ya'll, Summer is winding down to a halt and cooler weather is here, I dig this time of the Year.   :meditate:

Today is day 7 for 5 of 6 plants (I run 24hr cycle for 7-10 days), right on schedule getting ready to pop out the 2nd node (barely showing).  The Miracle OG is definitely growing normal with NO stunting and healthier than ever (NICE trunk on her).  .

Crazy start to this new season, 3 of 6 six had to be decapped and one of them I accidentally ripped off one of the cotyledons removing the helmet.  You can see in the picture some of the cotyledon's are brown tipped, just when you think you've experienced it all, BOOM, reality check... your EGO at the Door!   :weedpoke:

Hey folks, just wanted to clarify from the previous post that the 7 days was from throwing the seeds down, they aren't 7 days from surfacing.

Alright, back to it, just came back from a wedding out of town and the babies have grown Tremendously while I was gone.  Always exciting and nervous leaving them for 3 days or so(closer to 3.5), but I timed the watering perfectly and they are still a bit moist and should need watering tomorrow night.  They will be transplanted sometime this week.  Hard to tell which one was is the Miracle OG, IT Never skipped a beat, Remarkable.   :meditate:

Alrightie, update time, the Lineup is as follows:

Berry and Banana Bomb

OGK and Purple Wreck from RP

Wedding Cake and Kuntz (freebie) PhenoF

I've already grown the OGK, Wreck, and the Cake and loved all three so I had to plant the other seed (bought 2 of each).  I'm a bit nostalgic sometimes, so I picked up the Berry Bomb, which our family friend grew years ago and is no longer with us.  He used to grow MONSTER over 5lb Orange tree like trunks (tree branches for Mains) for Cannabis plants.  The biggest I've ever seen in person... Astounding!  Anyway, we Miss our friend (Dave) and not just for the Cannabis Old Timer grower he was, but an artist (drawing), and a Super down to earth dude that would smoke just about anyone down AND Out.  Moving forward, get out of my emotions here, the Banana Bomb was a freebie and with the trend of 2 seeds per breeder, I felt it was a Match made in Heaven.  Ya'll Stay FROSTY!

P1150037.JPG

Transplant went flawless, and all plants are topped for 4 nodes. A few plants have the sixth node since it's so small, but I'll pinch those in a day or two.  They are due for a watering tonight, time for a light feeding which will be there first drench feeding.

P1150042.JPG

First spray down for the girls, I'm out of yucca which I normally use and will replace shortly, but the spray is Calcium Nitrate, Dextrose, Epsom Salt, and Aloe.  It's time to start revving these girls up like we are ready to RACE.   :meditate:

Whaddup Folks... back from Vacation and I FEEL GREAT!  Badly needed some time away to reflect and get back to the REAL World with a positive mindset.  I'm also overdue for a Macro cycle, played around with stones on the Micro side and I'm very pleased with the results.  Anyway, unplugging for a while is a MUST for me.   :meditate:

Hey Now...break time Over, so what you are seeing is something I (or we) used to do working for a Tropical plant house back in the mid to late 90's.  It's not a new invention by any means, and it made taking care of Spath plants, or an array of Potho's much easier to manage certain times of the year (or plants with more sun during certain seasons).  Back on track from memory lane there, I'll blame the Wedding Cake... basically what you are seeing is Passive Hydro.  I was going on vacation, and before I transplanted from the 19oz Solo cups, I added some wicking Rope.  This is a great way to put your mind at ease when you are away from the Mommas.  There are different ways to accomplish an out of town fail safe with a timer and a cheap pump and 1/4 inch hose, but I had already fed them the night before I left, and I just wanted some wiggle room to make sure they didn't dry out.  I fed them the night before on schedule, then filled the tub with about 1.5gal of water Sunday morning before leaving.  With the plants being close to needing transplant, I knew they wouldn't last 3.5 days or so without a drink.  They are growing really fast now and drinking it UP lately.  I took some photos of course, I can't help myself, new camera in my future (hopefully) that isn't a dinosaur when I recoup from weddings and vacations and LIFE woes, but that's how it goes... Sometimes.  Easy Step Guide Below:

Before transplanting put an inch or so of soil on the bottom of the pot like So.

P1150017.JPG

Poke your wicking rope (old cotton shirt many options for wicking material) into one side of the drain hole over the inch of

soil and down through another drain hole. You could probably even set the rope on the bottom of the pot, but I wanted it

raised up a bit and good contact with the soil.  I'm sure it would work either way, but this is how I do it (or did).

P1150019.JPG

P1150018.JPG

Then I just pulled up on the rope inside the pot and spread the rope out.  Afterwards, just fill with soil as usual and drop in your Solo.

P1150015.JPG

P1150016.JPG

No moving parts, and I enjoy incorporating something I learned that is simple and effective and Passive Hydro has been used to a LONG time.

Alright, so now you just need a reservoir and something to keep the pots off of the bottom (DO NOT submerge your pot, MUST be raised out of the water).  Well, I'm a person always looking to use something I already

have.... SO I grabbed an old rubberneck tub, and the framing I used to use for SCROGS that are now a border inside the tent to keep the sides from sucking in on my plant space.  I had

3 pvc pipes that are my 2-foot sides of the 2x4 pvc frame and worked perfectly, and with the pipes being a little bigger width wise... and the rubberneck being flexible, worked flawlessly (snug fit, middle one was a little loose but didn't affect anything).

P1150163.JPG

P1150155.JPG

The picture used for the pvc pic was taken this morning which would be

exactly 4 days from filling the tub before leaving.  I didn't expect them to drink

pretty much all of the water.  If you need to go on a longer vacation, just raise the pots higher and

fill with more water or nutrients feeding.  These small plants sucked it all up NO problem, and I checked

them last night (3.5 days) and didn't take a picture, but it looked nearly the same with nothing in the bottom of the tub left and hefty pots.

I'll let them dry out now and get them transplanted this weekend.  Ya'll take care and that's my 2 cents on "Vacation Watering"  :chucks:

What's Good ya'll, put in the hard work last night and this morning.  All plants are in their final 5-gallon smarties (3 plants last night, and the smaller 3 this morning).  Everything went perfect and no accidents. or anything abnormal.  I did make a different mistake with the Miracle OG... Again, one of the top Main Arms broke right at the connection point way to easy, I've broken many tops over the years, it happens, but never this sort of fold over like a lawn chair and the whole branch was done for.  I can usually tape a top if it's not completely severed, but there was NO saving this one.  I looked at the broken area and realized right away what happened.  I didn't leave enough stubble from the topping and the branch was weak because of it and didn't create the "knuckles".  I know better, and I checked the rest, and they all look great.  SO, the OG is a 3 headed monster and is STILL one of the biggest plants.  She's tough as nails and a fighter, do your thing Girl.   :meditate:

Bigger pots and more leaf matter has raised the humidity from 35-40% which is a consistent average to 50.  Let's get these babies bushed up and flip them Soon.   :weedpoke:

Whaddup folks, been SO busy with life and trying to trim the fat so to speak with projects and or work/business related issues, weddings, vacation, and OH SO much more.  Moving ON, I put up the second tent the other day, but my calf has been stuck on stupid so it's tent only as of now.  I'm finally back in the game, so I'll chip away at the exhaust, lights, and intake... since I need this done and the girls are ready to FLIP.  My taller ones are right around 15 inches give or take (closer to 16 the tallest) Today is around 45/46 days for most of the plants breaking ground.  I'll put the taller ones in the Gorilla since it's 6ft7 and the shorter stocky Indica dominant hybrids in the 2x4x5.  Next month for my birthday, I'm buying a smaller 2x2x4 tent that I can fit right next to the 2x4x5.  This will help me with saving VEG time and go right to flower again, or close to it for the next cycle.  Eventually, I'd like to go pheno hunting for clones of my favorites, Maybe in due time I find me a Mother that I'd like to keep around.  Always expanding the horizons.  Ya'll Take Care of One Another

I gave them a foliar spray yesterday before lights out and they always LOVE a good bath feeding.  They are too big now

for a regular mister bottle, so I broke out the trusty ol' SOLO.  Simple spray of yucca, aloe, corn sugar, a small pinch of epsom,

and fish and seaweed.  I've been using Neptunes for a long time now even before using it for foliar, makes a wonderful additive

for an ACT as well.

Well ya'll, I put in SUM work yesterday getting the Gorilla all tightened up.  Everything always goes well after getting the exhaust hooked up, connecting the Scrubber is always a PITA.  VICTORY all the same and I put in the 3 biggest plants last night that are all around 16" or so.  I gave them their pre-game defoliation and was a breeze to clean up.  I didn't remove too many lower branches, wasn't many, and a good number of leaves went to the compost pile.  Really happy with their health and vigor and LET'S DO THIS!!

The smaller tent will get flipped tonight, I'll clean the scrubber pre-filter and the floor and clean the girls up with a defol as well.  If the tent is a rockin' don't come a knockin'

Ya'll take Care.
