So I don't know if I've been happier about a mushroom ever. These things are fucking HUGE!!! I just took 40.6 grams off cake 1 and 34.5 off cake 2 - these things are invitro and they're flushing larger than some terrarium cakes I've had. I am anxious to see what subsequent flushes bring, and am really pumped because I've got 20 jars, about half of which are pinning, so I can see a mushroom at any given stage of growth at any given time. This is the fun part, kids...
Thanks to all for everything here - you know who you are - for everything. This place changed my life; without many of you, I wouldn't be me.

My print library, does not include a PESA. I don't currently have one and never have. 'Course I wouldn't turn down a print if you want to throw one my way :)
Another reason they didn't come from me is that I wouldn't have traded for syringes because I can get all I need from a local farm supply store.
Congrats on your grow and I'd love to see some pics.

But I owe someone from Clio, MI
a big fat-assed thank you
[EDIT: if you're the one from Clio please don't post that here,
but do PM me so I can tell you how cool you are]
I'm pretty sure we did a trade back in October/November
made 20+ syringes with them about two months back
and I harvested another cake today
could have done it yesterday but I said "no
I'll bet they get bulbous."
And sure enough, they did. Motherfucker weighs in at
Looking at the other jars, I'm planning on getting a good
35-45 from each cake from this first flush;
but I hate to count chickens before they're hatched so I won't
make claims as to what I'll get on the recently dunked ones
but I shall keep you informed on subsequent flushes.
On a note of much more interesting note:
invitro is amazing. Allow me to explain.
I'm getting an average flush here of say 35 wet grams,
which is better than my norm in a terrarium which is about 20-25 grams;
now, 25 grams from a terrariumed cake will dry to about 2.3, 2.4, maybe 2.5.
But these invitro PESA are drying from 35 grams to 4.3 grams.
That's right bitches: invitro may be uglier and annoying to harvest,
and I'll even admit that they take longer to grow,
but it can flush just as well if not better than regular terrarium growing
and will be denser fruits i.e. less waterweight.
And here's what else I noticed!
When done, the cake is dry - I mean dry dry dry. Dry.
When one picks a cake in a terrarium,
while it's not moist like the day it was dunked,
it's not usually dry like this.
These are dry.
This leads me to the conclusion that invitro cakes
both lock humidity in better as well as,
for whatever reason,
utilize more water more efficiently without having to be hydrated again.
I've been dancing a perpetual jig for the last 72 hours.

lol congrats, ive found invitro fruits to be more solid and dense also. but when you give them to your friends they always give you that "what the fuck is this?!" look.

Python, buddy, your Texans are next, but I might wait until I move to a new area to try them out - still have one PESA print left, too; only bummer with these guys is I can't print them.
