So this second flush has come in much harder and faster...I noticed after soaking that there were pins almost breaking through the plastic on the sides so I cut the liner and the sides are exploding! I have placed a other cake of a different strain from the same MSS, and let's just say I might be finding out about blobs soon lol

Flush #2...didn't weigh it but it was more than first flush. Cake still looking super clean so I'm going for a third.

You can definitely let those grow more.. usually when they start getting softer, they’re ready.. those would still pack on some weight. Let me see if I can find some comparison pics for ya based on how yours look.. these might be a little earlier than yours but not by much:

Big difference in the weight of the flush.. you’ll probably end up getting that out of your cake by pulling them earlier but it’s gonna take more flushes which runs the risk of the sub contaminating the longer it’s made to fruit. Know what I’m sayin? You really need to let them go long to get any spore production too if you’re gonna grab swabs from them

Nice job tho! PE is one of my favorites for sure
