5 year old m.s. syringe on agar.

Starting back up again after 4 years.
My spore prints: Pan Cayan and Atl. 7 started to germinate after 6 days. Good to go spores.
I also used 5 year old spores I had left over on the same day. 7/21
It's been over 4 weeks and I can still see the spores on the agar. No signs of life.
I don't know if I should just toss the Old syringes or wait another few weeks to see if they germinate.
Thank you for any advice.

The longest i have went saving a syringe is about 3.5 years, I managed to get a tiny spot of growth on grain actually (shot up the jar twice), I went Agar and grain to test. That being said, the other 4 syringes I had forgotten about didn't survive. Prints can be saved for many years if taken care of. Good Luck.

I'm glad I have prints left over from my past endeavors.
I can seen the Pan Cayan spores still sitting on the agar.
Never knew there was a shelf life MS syringes they look good but definitely no sings of life.
Glad to be back here again.
Have a good day folks.
