Making a small jar of LC right now, also have a syringe half full of distilled water with it in the PC. Going to try the biopsy with a big fat redboy. Anyone have any luck with this method?

Gave it a shot tonight. Picked a monster redboy, wiped it down with iso and sick the needle through. I can see I got a little in the lc solution. Think I'll have to go to the feed store and get a bigger gauge needle.

You don't need much to get the LC to grow, hopefully you see mycelium within a day or two.  I've always wanted to try the Biopsy style cloning, COOL factor, I guess.  All the Best... of Luck.   :meditate:

I have, so far just the one. A clone from my Unknown Henson. I had a prepared lc available, took my clone subject, sprayed it down with ISO in the SAB, drew up about 3ml of lc into a syringe, tore the specimen in half, and proceeded to get my biopsy with the syringe needle, its actually harder to do than it sounds. Then I injected the syringe back into the lc. Bits were so small I wasn't sure I actually got it. But it grew over a few weeks. I knocked up 4 jars of oats, so far clean rhizomorphic growth on all four jars.
