Here are some ornamental plants living in my yard this year. Yes, STRICTLY ornamental. They sure are beautiful plants though

This phenotype has double blooms, one inside the other. They are rather beautiful though. Even though they look kind of evil lol. This plant just looks like it has bad intentions lol

I'd grow them too but I'm afraid my last dance with datura was a little rough.

That IS a beautiful Brugmansia  Datura plant! However, I have to give my standard DO NOT INGEST THIS warning :)

That is one of the prettiest one's ever! At the Seattle Center's butterfly exhibit, they have a giant tree in the center, and one time when I was there, I realized it is a HUGE Angel's Trumpet, as big as a tree. It grows blue flowers about 12-14 inches long and is an amazing example of that species. Incredible centerpiece in the summertime. I have some that keep coming back that grow to about 3-4 feet tall and produce 6-7 inch white blooms.

After looking at the pictures several times el-ron, I had to see it oriented correctly and crop off some of the excess. Sorry, its a compulsion of mine . I thought I would share the adjusted picture back with you.

This is a quite beautiful Datura.

Jimson weed grows everywhere around here, but does not compare in coloration. The double bloom just adds the extra zing....

I am well aware of its danger, but still find it wickedly beautiful. Does it have a fragrance? I once had a Brugsmania which woul perfume the whole yard in the evening when it was in bloom. I had to remove it when we got a new puppy.

Here's your pic back....

@Skywatcher thanks! My friend says it has a faint fragrance somewhat similar to the Easter lily. I haven't gotten close enough to smell them lol. I will though at some point before they are done blooming

Very much not recommended.........

The metabolic reaction of each individual is way too unpredictable, and the alkaloids are far more capable of harm.

If anybody wants some seeds from these just message me. I'm gonna have a shitload of them. I'm fairly certain the progeny retain the double bloom trait as well
