Rehydrating the soil - targeting a 5-10% by volume watering used 3-6 gals of water over this period of time for each watering. Added wetting agent (yucca) @ 2 Tlb per gal ever watering, roots organic bio force (1 tap per gallon) and home grown aloe water (1 aloe leaf blended into 1 cup water) were added at alternating intervals to add microbes and amino acids to the soil.
50 count of worms were added to each bed when the level of hydration came up.
2 sprouted seed teas were brewed seed mush saved and dehydrated
EM1 Lacto acid bacillus serum started. Rice added to seed mush above

Seeds started directly in seedling soil on 9-13
9-17 100% germination

4 out of 5 Oregon diesel look healthy. 1 seed laying on the surface of the soil with about a 1/2 inch tap root. Gently placed back in soil and wait.

2 out of the 3 purple punch healthy looking. 1 has helmet head and the stem seems thin.

The goal was 2 and 2
If short veg can do 3 and 3

The numbers will tell

Humbled today when I got home and checked on the seedlings. The ODX #5 has emerged with green above the soil where I re planted it. The runtish looking PP Has sprouted up more and looks as of the helmet is cracking open more.

I&I say Namaste
Thank you

Seedling first set of leafs are stretching outward and the second set of leaves are starting to emerge.
The seedlings are drinking water now.
Cups lighter by weight.
Only added about 1-2 tablespoons of plain water

Purple punch

Oregon Diesel X

Humidity dome removed and humidifier set up

Started cover crop termination by clipping all the peas down. Time limit this morning. Cover crop termination will finish tonight

Need to set up a re amendment plan and look at getting seedlings in around 2 weeks.

Higher then expected plant count since I was shooting for 2 purple punch (3 sprouted) and 2 Oregon diesel x (5sprouted)
Since 100% germination The plan for very short veg time and will do 3 PP and 4 ODX.
clone to mother the purple punch and keep the 5th ODX (the “runt”) as a mother.

Watered with 1 gal of water that was a combo of some added soak water from some seeds to be sprouted and the Q 20 and applied to each bed.
Purple punch are lifting up toward the light
Oregon diesel look like they have experienced a little shock as they are a bit droopy and have not recovered yet.

All were a little dry when I transplanted.

Thank you for the likes and for following along.

Well….the 14 day veg was a great idea that turned into more like 5 weeks….hello life!

Watered with plain water and q-20 at 3 gallons every other day
Little bit of tip burn from a missed watering where things got dry and hot

11/5
Watered 1 time @ 3 gallon compost tea.
This week watered my first +\- 10 plain water with microbes and q-20

Due to heat issue ramping up the light to full strength and lowering the timer by 1 hour till I am at 12/12 on 11-8.

Today is last day before 12/12
(well 7:32-7:28 due to a +\- 30 second on/off delay on the WiFi outlets that are running the light timer schedule)

I am going to wait out the stretch to see what I need to defoliate

Not happy with the size difference but I mixed the strains cause I could not let any go so I am good with that. Would be if it from scrog screen but think I may just see what I can support and move around as needed.

The one runt in bed one is an oODX. THE 2 nd bed have 3 ODX AND 2 of them are runtish. I lost the original runt that popped out of the soil and was replanted. I have never run this strain so I don’t know.

I made the mistake of turning my cover crop in and some of the straw mulch layer. I think I may have raised the soil temps from composting and that may had its effect on the seedlings with a young root system since I was trying to get them in and turned to flower quickly. I needed to chop and drop my cover crop and re amend as a top dress and then re mulch to give the worms their habitat to compost for me. An enzyme tea or some aminos would have helped the process break down quicker with out it going thermo compost.

I love the large beds and watering schedule for when life is busy. I’ am a tinker’er and having something to do every day helps keep me in the rhythm.

After my mid winter room run I am going re do the room. I was originally going to do 3 100 gal beds with a 4x4 footprint for each bed. but see the benefit of 1 4x4 quadrant being used for a set of 15 gal fabrics or maybe a couple of earth boxes for more versatility in strains and size plants.

Todays pics86C76A32-0053-4A18-B237-F0591F6B1BDD.jpeg D4D240A2-9235-40C3-A905-38DCFD23DE16.jpeg 6CAE02E2-EE80-48B5-A568-128C280F3C97.jpeg

10 week countdown is on! Breeders say 8 weeks but we all know.

Will top dress with build a flower in a couple weeks. Will start some build a bloom in with my water as well as a compost tea here and there with microbes refreshed about half way through.

11-8
10% water and q with microbes
Officially flipped to flower

11-10
5% water

11-11
Top dress each plant with 1/2 cup of craft blend then covered that with hand fills of build a flower and added a 25 count worms.
Started a compost tea with 1/2 cup of craft blend and build a flower and 1 cup of molasses.
I re amended on the light side in veg so I wanted to add in a little extra craft blend in compost tea to get in the soil and readily available for the rest of this weeks stretch and let my worms and the microbes from the tea break down the top dressing for a little food later in stretch.

Tomorrow will be another 10% ish on the lighter side watering

Investigation of the soil led to findings of the outer edges to be very dry
Watered again close to 10%
I may have been under watering slightly or the plants are using a lot during stretch. The temp is still higher then I like in this room.
