I started this name years ago. Anyways, my first grow was about 15 years ago and haven't had a serious grow since then. Just recently ordered a B+ LC syringe and inoculated karo LC, 4 myco bags with whole brown rice, and 2 bags of popcorn. This was 3 days ago and the LC is showing signs of growth. Yay I'm so happy!

Figured why not make this thread a grow journal.
Today I ordered Natalensis Super Strain after reading through the community thread. Should be very fun (both to grow and eat) since I've haven't tried exotics.
Here's an update on the B+ LC day 5. Sorry about the camera quality it wont focus well enough on the clouds

Checked on one of the whole brown rice bags and it has a quarter size patch of myc.

Here is an update to the B+ LC it appears to be doing well
Swirled after the above picture. Actually I try to swirl 3-5x a day with a few hours break in between. Maybe one day I'll buy a magnetic stir plate

Good evening all,
The next round will feature Natalensis Super Strain and if there are jars left over B+ LC for the rest. Should I make Whole Brown Rice or BRF cakes?

12 standard 1/2 pint BRF jars are depressurizing as we speak. Had to buy the tall ones because walmart didn't have wide mouth.
Tracking says my spore syringe should arrive tomorrow.
Also have quart and pint zip lock containers I want to try this week.
LC is looking good

Unfortunately the mail only made it to the distribution center of the state i live in last night so I'll have to wait until tomorrow for the syringe to arrive.

Being the time of year that it is make sure you get it out of your mailbox before it freezes (if you live in a cold part of the country). I once had a syringe freeze in my rural cluster box, and it split the barrel. Once it thawed out it just leaked all over the place.
Anyway, I hope you get yours safe and sound, and good grow vibes to you J

Today I managed to inoculate 5 NSS and 7 B+ 1/2 pints. The problem is the needle I bought for LC was 6" long and didn't fit in the SAB correctly. I tried getting as much myc as possible in the syringe but honestly think I may have inoculated at least half the B+ jars with nothing.
There is 1cc of Nat left over to start a MS LC, try agar, or something.
