Popping a couple seeds of some freebies I got . Whisky Zulu is the strain . Put them in a paper towel on 12-1 and one bean sprouted a couple days later the other sprouted two more days after the first .

I put the first in a 2 gallon fabric pot. Approximately 5 quarts of hp pro mix, 3 q ocean forest, 1 happy frog, 1 cup worm castings, tables spoon kelp meal, teaspoon bloom uprising, sprinkle of great white to get things started .

theyre going under a xs2000 LED.

Autos don’t like a ton of nutes and care hope I didn’t over do it . I’ll get some pics up soon .

Started 12-1

Just transplanted the smaller one a couple days ago. Some of the roots stayed in the cup when I transplanted :(

They’ve had a plastic bag for humidity over them just took it off for the photo .

Wasn’t planning on doing this grow, going to need to clean up in here ,

Day 21 last night gave them a heaping teaspoon of molasses in a half gallon of water split between them . They seemed to be a little perkier overnight didn’t think it’d be that quick . I turned the lights up just a bit to 70% intensity . I’ll gradually dial this up over the next few weeks .

Bent the larger one over with some Velcro strips for some light stress training .

Temps in the tent have been in the low 70s . The sides get sprayed whenever i open the tent up but the humidity feels nice upon frost opening the tent too . Will have to get a hygrometer in there .

I messed up some roots when I transplanted the smaller one so it’s still butthurt and probably will be it’s whole life :(

Had to peeked at them in a few days but they seem to have liked the molasses . Adjusted the strap and Tucked some leaves of the large one . Pulled the smaller one to the side and tied it down .

I’m going to give these leaves a few days to perk up but the next time I water I’m going to bring in some more ocean forest soil and fill in what the water was pushed down in my pot . I might also add a teaspoon of bloom uprising since flower is about to start . Will have to see if that’s too much bc autos don’t like a lot of nutes.

In my experience with Auto's, I mainly run Photo's but I fed them no problem and one of my favorites was GG4 from Expert seeds and Colorado Cookies Auto.  It's crazy to see a 4 - 5" plant turn into 24" or so really fast.  The Colorado cookies was around 28" and was around 6-7" tall when it all began.  I wouldn't be too worried, the plant will tell you if you are overfeeding, leaf tipping is a definite sign, I'm used to pushing my plants, so I know first-hand when I go too far, whether that's too much light, or a sensitive plant that doesn't like to be pushed on the nutrient side.  Nowadays, LESS is more and if you start out with a cooked soil, or really good bag soil if you don't have the space or means to make your own.  I used to grow outdoors for MANY years, and my first pounder plant that was planted late was straight Mykos, FFoF soil, and Earth Juice drenches for Bloom. I've also had good luck with Roots Organics, and fungus gnats with Happy Frog.  After the Happy frog incident, I started out building my own soil.  Take it from someone that doesn't know how to just water a plant (unless it's the end), YOU GOOD ta GO!

3 pics below are Kuntz, you can see the tipping

Same here with the Wedding Cake, slight tipping and OH SO Frosty like Tinker bell came by, and crop dusted them.

Thanks for the info ML. I’ve been worried about fungus gnats but hopefully I’ve got enough hp pro to dissuade them . It’s also freezing really hard right now so as long as i don’t bring them home I should be good for awhile .

I’m trying to find my core Ingredients for my soil mix so I’m not shifting gears constantly . I will be running different genetics next run but I hope to do more of a perpetual grow where i start one every 4-6 weeks and have three at a time going from seedling, veg, flower.

These girls are really starting to run right now probably going to be training them twice a week for the next couple I’d guess .

Might do a 90% ffof next to a mix similar to what I have going now and see if I can suss out the pros and cons of each .

Oversaturated soil surface will cause gnats as well (watering when surface is too wet), I've on occasion seen them on mushroom blocks that are spent.  I remember once when I gave a plant a low dose of peroxide in water, it's crazy to watch your soil fizzle, but man, it will be OH so clean afterwards and fungus gnats larvae GONE.  Resume feeding when soil dries out a bit and get those microbes back to work.  The key is dilution, but it's not something I do often (literally once in all the grows I've done) or even have too honestly.  I'd rather not, but an infestation can take ahold and be a nightmare.  Stopping the larvae is the key.   :meditate:

I have had really good luck this round and not had much of a gnat problem really not any activity at all other then an occasional sighting. A couple of the products I use from Build-A-Soil line for top dressing and re amending my soil has mustard seed meal in the ingredients. It’s been added to help combat the gnats. The living soil style grow likes the moisture level higher where the fungal gnats like to thrive.
Right before my last top dress in flower I had brought my worm bins in the grow room. With in days I had gnats flying around. Then came time to top dress and I pulled the worm bi s back out of my room and then the gnats were gone after a couple of waterings.
Mustard seed meal can be used on its own too dressed over the soil as well. I have read it can be hard at the germination and seedling stages but I also see it being added to seed starting mixes as well.

Coffee grounds can combat fungus gnats as well, I believe it's a slower process to fend them off, but it works no doubt.  A couple drops of soap mixed with water works great for all kinds of pests, especially horn worms in Tobacco or tomatoes.  I rarely see them, but if you see branches that look broken off, it's a horn worm eating your wonderful tops.  They can eat a TON real fast.

Added some more fox farm on top of the plants .

Strapped a few more branches down on the big girl and tucked her leaves .

The bushier one 5at had the roots messed up in transplant is getting thick but not tall . I might try and train her up more in the next few days . By that I mean I’ll probably strap her down with many more cords to where she’s flatter and spread out somewhat evenly .

Might add a little top dressing of bloom uprising soon as well . Flower is starting to take off and of course I want to help that along .

The big one is really stretching, had to retie that Main cola again, seeing a little yellowing on the fan leaves . And ive noticed a little purple stems since flower really started kicking in .

How much water do you think these would need per week? Theyre in 2gallon fabric pots, with mainly FFOF, HP PRO, and happy frog, they e gotten about a half gallon twice a week the last few weeks and I might bump that up . Humidity has been lower lately too like the 40s . They’re temps with the lights on are about 77.

Gave them some molasses with their water today. Some of the big leaves on bottom are shriveling And had to pluck them. Staring to see trichomes this week really start to take off .

I might give them water straight from the well before it goes through our filtration system that brings it very close to a neutral ph. Giving them well water that was about 5.4 last time I checked should help balance out whatever exrections the microbes are producing . Idk it’s just a thought though, anyone think otherwise ?

I’ll get some pics up soon

Gotta get a pic up they’re coming along beautifully in their own different ways . Going to have to get some of the big fan leaves trimmed out that are yellowing up . They had some more molasses water over the weekend . Will get some pics soon .

Also might top dress with a teaspoon of bloom uprising we will see. I think I only have about three weeks left .

Defoliated the bigger leaves that are yellowing and curling . Retied and rerouted some limbs to flatten the plant out And open up the middle . Defoliated a few of the green leaves still hanging over the middle . I’ve tried to wait and not be too invasive on these girls, haven’t even clipped the small buds on the bottom . Just going to see what they do without me doing too much . I’d like to train them better next go around but I don’t even know exactly what it looks like . I’m sure it’ll look different next time bc I’ll have different strains going .
This is day fifty so I’m guessing I still have another month to go . The one that’s a little further along is starting to have some red hairs pop up .

Well it seems like my little automatic water either didn’t pump at all this weekend week while I was gone or didn’t pump near enough . THe girls look rough. Dumped a lot of water on them immediately . Lots of yellowed leaves but not crispy yet. The one that’s lagging has some droopy green leaves.
We’re gonna see what tomorrow brings, only thing i can do

My girls always did like a good dry spell in the last few weeks. Mimics nature in the way it dries out in early autumn. It also stresses the plant. Plants with to little stress always seemed to me to be less potent.
