Just a quick wake n bake and check out the new rolling tray

 

I been procrastinating about getting this dry trim done ahha

The only hash I've ever had came out of a grinder so I bought a cheap set of ipower bubble bags to try. Should arrive in a day or two. This gives me enough time to make the ice required.

 

Breaking up the buds. 2 bags of ogk auto and one mystery bag. mystery bag was definitely less crystaly

 

 

Here is the final weigh in de-stemmed and bag weighs 12 grams. Note this weed is bone dry and about 6 months old stored in a gallon bag inside a 5 gallon bucket

Sampling will have to wait until tomorrow afternoon cuz  the hash is still wet (not sure if I mentioned this is bubble hash)

 

One tip if you make bubble stick some spoons in the freezer for like 5 minutes. The cold spoon scoops hash much more easily

Upgraded the lighting for the 3x3' tent from 4 50w cob to one 250W ViparSpectra KS2500. Although there are only 2 autos under it currently along with some peppers. Most is going back under the 50w cobs in the 3x5' tent so I can start a pheno hunt of durban cookies once the seeds are dried. Still another 4-5 weeks wait.

 

Yoshi I tried to smoke some hash but it was still too wet.

Guys last night the hash blasted me into outer space. I haven't been so high in a long time. It was awesome!

Total yield 10.2g hash from 154g bud = 6.6% return.

Last hash run, I had to stop smoking after a week, turned me into a bump on a log. Now I use it occasionally as a topper, usually in the evenings. :)

Been working on a setting up a tent in the grow room closet. The closet it's not light tight and I had a 3x2 tent so perfect. Carbon filter, fan, timer etc will wait until tomorrow. For the moment I have a fan blowing into the tent. The plants don't stink yet anyways.

Sorry everyone I didn't take pictures of the water curing process as it can be seen on many marijuana growing forum.

 

However, here are a few drying pics

 

 I didn't have anything to dry the buds with besides a dehumidifier. There are people online who say quick drying after water cure works fine.

I kinda did a quick dry on the buds. As you can see in one of the photos from last night the bud was in a strainer with the fan blowing on it. Well I went to sleep after taking those pictures. Today the buds feel quite dry but not enough to smoke. They need some more hours then I'll do a smoke report.

 

 

Damn insomnia can't sleep more than a few hours in a row lately.

 

EDIT: For got to mention this water cure was started with dry buds rather than wet.

Ok guys the water cure bud is now dry at 55%. I'm in the market for a trimmer, Both the Trim Bag ($224) and Trim Bucket ($349) are up for consideration. The trim bag requires very low moisture level in the buds to work. For me this is not an issue as long as it smokes smooth. Trim bucket will do any moisture level but is more money than I want to spend on a hand trimmer without being able to try it. Trim bag looks like they lie and replace the buds tbh which makes me want to shell out the exta mula for the trim bucket.

 

BTW I don't remember what strain the water cure buds were but it did work the smoke is smooth with not much taste and gets ya stoned.
