Anyone drink this stuff?
A girl I met gave me a culture. Aparently you mix sugar and strong tea with the culture and it ferments the tea to "Kombucha", a healthy drink filled with yeast and bacteria culture.
The "culture" sometimes called a "mushroom" is a symbiotic relationship between yeast and bacteria. The broth starter it came in smells like alcohol...but aparently it's less then 2% by volume.
Anyway..I"m going to try to make some. Figure it will make a good addition to the mushrooms, wine, and cider/mead.

I've been drinking it on and off for a few years. Also brewed it for a few months, untill my girl threw out the culture. She said that blob looks disgusting, get it out of the fridge. lol Just a note of caution, Kombucha contains small amounts of antibiotics so even though it's a tasty beverage, it's probably not wise to drink it every day.
