a 3 % solution of karo light was prepared and pressure cooked for 20 minutes at 15psi...


The solution was then innoculated with KSS and Redboy, from multispore...


The pictures above are a bit blurry im still trying to get taking pics of LC down ... however these quarts were done in less then 2 weeks..


You are looking at approximately 500ML in each jar. of a 3% karo solution and water....

how many cc's? did you innoculate two strains in one jar?

You are looking at approximately 500ML in each jar. of a 3% karo solution and water....

I was wondering how you measure 3%? That would be 15 ml karo correct? Was anything else added?

1/16 cup =.5oz = 1 Tbsp. = 3 tsp. = 15 ml
Does 3 tsp. of 500 ML = 3%?

I get confuzed on % numbers, don't know if its by weight or volume?

Usually I go with volume on liquids and dry weight on solids.

it's by ML [volume]
3% of 500 ML
is 15 ML.
of course 1 ML of water = 1 gram
