you'd better add another layer of just verm
to cover the coffee grounds before they get moldy

you're not really using the coffe grinds like they should be,
so i'd just remove all that
and recase it with a thin layer of damp verm.
you'll need to dig a bit deeper in the archives to glean all the details
but liquid coffee needs to be used to soak the grains before colonization,
while coffee grounds can be part of compost or bulk substrate
which is spawned with colonized grain,
etc.
but coffee contams fast if exposed to air
and it's very acidic
so you gotta use it right,
you can't just chuck some in the casing layer
and hope for a big fast flush,
sadly it just doesn't work that way.

So i took the casings and i put them in the fridge for 36 hours , the lower part of the fridge. Because i have a Temp/Humi meter that i bought from a hydro shop in ebay, it has indoor sensor and a outdoor sensor that is a cable with the little sensor at the end
so after the vermiculite layer i was going to put them in the fruiting chamber for pinning but the tempature meter was 100.01F and the humidity was only 45%, outside the tempature was 74F and 51% humidity so the only thing that i could do to help pinning is cold , so yesterday when i took them to the fruiting chamber the tem/hum was the same with two fans blowing to the chamber , i got so confused i was going to brake the chamber because i can't grow shroom because of the high tem her were i live i thought put the room was fresh with a nice refreshing brezze so i took the meter in the chamber and used the indoor meter because i was useing the outdoor sensor and bingo i was right the tempature is 74F to 76F and the humidity is 86% to 90% perfect for shrooms. The setup is a Martha stewart double closet with a cool mist humidifier, the humidity is so perfect that i'm using a timer for the coolmist 1 hour on and 2 hours off. !!!What i experience yesterday was really a bad trip ......../////////
!I'll update tomarrow , looking good so far !!!!!!!!
Best wishes allways .........////////////////.......................///////////////////////

What i meant is that the temp/humidity meter was reading wrong , the real tempature in side is 74F to 76F and the humidity is 86% to 90% and i was going crazy because of the high temp readings in the broken meter. Sorry for my writing , i have been in P.R to long , there's no need to write in english here or even speak in inglish.
Best wishes ! Bro ...............////////////////////.....................//////////////////
