What would happen if you mix a liberal amount of basil, oregano and thyme into the substrate? Would it be good for a lasagne?

I'd have to strongly think about moving into a pre fab subdivision. The pastel palaces they slam up around here are scary. So close together you can hear your neighbor flush the toilet. Might as well build apartments or condos. Either way it's truly sad to see what the developers do to this area in the name of the mighty dollar.

and its ironic that a once old forest is turned into a surbuban paradise, the one thing besides grass that pops up is the magical psilocybe cyanescen. maybe its natures way of warning us that if you hurt me too much i'll produce something that will make you reconsider your impact on my once thriving forest ecosystem through the fruit that helped decompose it.

I have an old running buddy who finally got married and spawned who lives in one of those hoods. Garden homes they call them. Makes my skin crawl being over there. The sense of wrongness and not belonging hangs on me like a fuenerary shroud when I'm at his place.

Psilocybe cyanescens on grass -- doesn't seem a long stretch. As others have reported, in northern california, they grow in dune grass, particularly on the north spit to humboldt bay (hope that's not too specific.) However, in that area, there is a pulp mill and a wood fired cogeneration plant nearby, with huge piles of wood chips in the area that get trucked in (and provide a vector to the dunes.) But on flat out grass, with no chips in sight -- that does seem strange. Awesome, but definately out of the ordinary.
