I'm contemplating sprinkling hydrated lime directly onto laid out spawn, and onto spawned substrate prior to colonization. Will a light layer of lime in direct contact with the mycelium stunt growth? I'm tired of the [email protected]#$%%^^&* Trich hitting the tops of my hard earned casings. I think a little lime would be good insurance. Am I going in the wrong direction here?
