cloned one of the nicest fruits on agar
1 pint of peroxidated grasseed was inoculated with a wedge of isolate,
went very nicely after a shake or 2.
spawned ~ half a pillowcase full of straw
cased, with 20:1 mixture of coir:lime.

tub = ~2 inches of substrate

Wow. Very abundant. Do you know any of the environmental parameters the guy used. Temps, rH, etc.? How long from spore to fruit?

so....from spore to stone is approx 90 days....then you "plant" a sclerotia and how long till it fruits? Besides prints...is there any benefit from fruiting the stones? Are the fruits any stronger?

from here...
http://archives.myco...html?1079483411
You don't wait for it to produce stones...after colonization you break and case.
Here's a new question....In the link above it says this...

The substrate is based on grass seed. The most commonly sold form is rye grass seed (Lolium perenne) but we have also used mixtures of different species with great succes. Make sure however that it is not treated with fungicides. If seed has been treated with fungicides it should say so on the packaging. You may have to look around a little bit to get some unexpensive seed (we buy ours from an animal feed store where it is sold as birdfeeding).

This the perennial rye grass that you would use to seed your yard? The stuff that grow grass...turf....NOT rye grain which is Winter Rye....
Right?
