Mycotopia is looking very good, like a very modern forum!
still finding my way,a little paranoid that everybody see me reading throgh

India was a perfect adventure,a lot of smoke,a lot of walking in the mountains, managet to smoke about 800 chilums for 29 days (4 people),this makes about 500-600 grams of charas picked up from different places for about 150 Euro.
It is a magical place if you know the history, the gita and all, because every place has its own magical story.

yes, those are the himalayas seen from a village called Kasar Devi

and these are more than 5000 years old tempels, one of the 12 joti lingams is placed there, the town is called Jageshvar,a very holy place.

the best for me are the mountains, all towns are too much of pressure

i love your first set of pics, i cant imagine having to leave that place. what really made me smile was the third picture in the first set. survival stuff. lighter, knife, other stuff. ...and a bat !!! lol

im surprised they let you take pictures in the holy areas. i know some places dont allow it. very very cool

glad you made it back safe and sound. im too paranoid to go overseas right now. too afraid of being an american in a foreign land. im such a sucker

Beautiful pictures. I've been fascinated with India for quite some time now. What did a trip like that cost you?? What was the weather like when you went??

all in all spent 800 to 900 euros,
500 for airplane,150 for some silver to sell for regaining some of the money that were spent for the airplane and the rest were for eating, traveling and smoke,
in the mountains there are houses (rooms) you can rent for 50 rupies per night (56 rupies= 1 Euro),those hymalaias are seen right from the terrase of the house we rented,
just sit, stare and smoke and enjoy!
if you want to rent the house for 1 year it is like 6000 rupies!
toilet outside,no bathroom but never think it is a problem,

now is the time to go to more hot places in India, but in the hot places too many tourists and charas is 1000 rupies for 1 tolar (1 tolar = 11 grams),
in the same time in the mountains for 1000 we got 10 tolars, there was snow still,
it does make a difference!

these pictures are from a town called Pushkar,if you are praying to Brahma this is the only place were your prayers will reach him,
as you may know he does not have many temples all around India like Vishnu and Shiva,
actually Pushkar is the lake!
