Post a casing tek w/pic of results.

There are many casing teks and different
ways of caring for them. If you read enough
of them you are bound to find contradictions.
So how do you choose a tek? Someone once told
me not to listen to what anyone was saying
unless they were getting the results that
I wanted. Like you shouldn't take financial
advice from someone that's broke.
So I thought it would be cool if people would
post a little bit about a casing tek and then
a pic of the results.
So I'll kick it off.

Strain: Amazonian
Colonized Substrate: 2 pints of straight brown
rice sliced into 1" thick slices, crumbled into
Casing Layer: moistened vermiculite 1/2" top and
Incubation/recolonization: covered with foil and
put in the incubator for 2 days then fruit chamber
Watering: Misted sides of chamber twice a day
Air Exchange: Fanned chamber twice a day
Yield: 198.4g wet

foaf tries to keep his projects as simple as possible too. he uses a few rubbermaid containers to do the entire thing all in one, as opposed to a seperate fruiting chamber (lack of room). otherwise he does things about the same as you almond milk. or so it seems....Posted Image
