These little guys popped up in my outside garden five days ago:

They grew from a trashed lipa yai project that went south due to overwatering and clumping of substrate.

I crumbled the entire tray of grain spawn and hpoo into a 1"x24"x30" layer, then added coir/verm on top.

I built a wooden box to cover it from direct sunlight and added chicken wire to the front to keep out any destructive critters:

It's been raining here for days so they got a little waterlogged, but still survived.

I'm hoping for more from this patch but am not going to hold my breath.

Five days, pins to pics.

This garden grow has experienced temps as low as 42f, and highs up to 82f. Very little sun due to the protective box or cloudy skies. Humidity has been down as low as 15%, but as high as 80% in the past month. Only about eight days of rain since the patch was started one month ago.

nice pics and good work building that outdoor salvage patch. :eusa_clap

my friend also had good luck outdoors in the cold with spent projects this year.
he will always dump all his spent projects outdoors from now on, even contaminated ones.

Only the garden patch itself has experienced 42f, not the growing cubes (pins to full grown). The lowest temp these got to was around 60f.

These do look different then the ones that ended up being weak. Hopefully the 1.5 grams they dried out to will pack a punch, fingers crossed.

I'll report as soon as I get a break from work.
