Success!! SporeWorks is the way to go for sure! I'll never mess with spores101 again, horrible products from there.

Knocked up some jars on 2/10/07 at 1:00 am or so. 3 days later i have growth...

Day 3:

sporeworks is nice, have had great results with their products and customer service. :) i'm sure all our sponsors are great but i've just not had experience with all of them.

Heck yeah fahtster! Sucks i had to waste a month on crappy product. I'll be starting a new thread here soon, as i switched up to WBS and Popcorn. The WBS seemed to be much easier to prepare than the popcorn. Definitely easier to get the water content just right. :headbang:

Thanks again everyone for the help! Ya'll rock :bow:

So 9 days since inoculation on all my jars, some are slow to grow (PF Albino and Puerto Rican) and the others are right on track it seems. When should i birth them ? I shook them yesterday when they were at around 75% colonized and one day later its taken over the whole jar. Im guessing i should wait maybe 3 days to make sure the core has colonized completely, then shake it up and see where it stands. If it looks good, then case it. Else let it recolonize again. Would this approach cause the myco to much strain ? I know it has to recolonize again after i case it. This would put it at its 4th recolonization after some sort of human disturbance.

All jars inoculated on 2/9/07:
- Picture of close up WBS jar with the really ropey mycilium is Puerto Rican.
- Picture's of Popcorn jars are B+.
- Picture's of WBS jars is Ecuador.

Any comments on my tub would be helpful as well, hope I got all the bases covered. Thanks guys! :headbang:

Way to stick to it, Antivanity. I've tried corn 6 or 7 times and only got ONE qt. to colonize :eusa_wall Your success inspires me to try yet again! :eusa_clap
