i have B+/GT growing off of BRF cakes. (these are the batch that i purposely added more water than was recommended....maybe a lil mushy) but anyways.............. before they flushed the first time around i dunked them and put them to fruit, BUT....they are fruiting small. Shouldn't dunking make them bigger? cuz these ones just dunt looked dunked....maybe it's the formula mixture, or the suppliers spores, or wtf....weird.

More water isn't always better. If you made the material too wet, then the mycelium colonized slowly and was made weak by the improper mixture. There is a big difference between having your spawn on the dry side then dunking later, and having it too wet to begin with.

Roger is right.

When making the jars, you only need to put enough moisture to let the mycelium completely colonize the jars. Follow the BRF tek on this site.

Dunking will provide all of the moisture needed for fruiting.
