Hi Hip, what agar-nutrients do you typically use for plates like this? Is is potato-dextrose?

Thanks

Doesn't the mycelium start growing from the stem butt? I see in those pics some of them were sliced open?

mycelium grows anywhere from a fresh mushroom.. the reason why people cut the inside to get a tissue inside the stem is to have a clean sample.. but it is possible to have it grow from the outer layer itself..

Ingenious! I've also cloned to LC from invitro PF jar pins. Worked great.

Nice pics Hip. I like to cut little pins in half with the cut side down on the agar. Works great.
