I wasnt planing on focusing grows on just hare shit, but since ive found it in abundance i thought i would give it a try. Wild hares seem to have a tendency to mark spots with small balls of crap, there are rocks which i think they use for scouting that literelly have mounds of crap beside them so gathering large amounts isnt such a hassle. However another negative side of hare shit is that hares are rodents, i discussed this with shobimono, who first gave me the words of caution, rodent shit can be dangerous especially from the wild. So while preping the shit, a face mask was used and work like sieving the shit was done outside to avoid dust partiicles in the apartment.
This was started for experimenting reasons. However i am pleased with the results regardless, we will see how the tray does once colonised but i have high hopes :)

Fast update on the hare shot project. Things are going super good, way better than any other tek or should i say shit i tried. The pic below is 3 days after buling into straw and HARE doo. Growth is extremly fast and agressive. I regret not taking a pic before i cased the tub yesterday, it looked like white rug, with rizo strands standing like a thick fur on the tub. Simply amazin. Due to small space for casing it was only cased with maybe 1-2 cm of verm/coir, but it will hold mosture so it should work, i reckon tomorow it will be time to remove foil, drop temps and give light :) So the reall fun part is starting soon. Here is the pic for your enjoyment, ill be back with pins ;)

So here is the update good people. The Ultimate hare "manure" tray has finally pinned, not the best pinset bút they are some meaty pins, and since this was mainly "for experimenting" reasons iam more than satisfied so far. Beautifull little mushrooms :)

Iam making a time lapse series of this tray, iam just not sure how iam gonna stitch it together into one motion picture :D But ill post it as soon as i can for ur enjoyment.

Its easy to get manure anywhere, normally they will be more than glad for you to take it of their property, and if there are no farms or ranches around you, you can always buy manure in gardening stores, cow doo and wormdoo they normally have so it shouldnt be a problem to find some. Trus me people dont think ur crazy if u ask for shite :)

So any way i woke up to find eager little heads pushing the lid of the terrarium up, literally!:amazed:
And those caps, man.... they look like little amanitas, strange but the last few GT tubs from the same original mother jar didnt have such beautifull caps, i could hardly get to work in the morning i was so amazed by their beauty almost hypnotised :eusa_shif So here is some mycoPorn for u all so you can apretiate these "amanita wanabe" GT.-s

Well it was time for harvest last night, this little tray managed to produce 92.3 grams wet, not too shaby. It was also the first time the caps kept their beautifull spots. Unfortunatly i was in a rush yesterday so i couldnt make too many pictures but man i have seen my fare share of amanitas, and at first glance they really are "ami wannabes" :D Its also strange that for some reason beyond me, trays are finally not pinning on the sides, and this goes for each and every tray in the FC right now :) Enjoy pics below, hopefully ill be back with the second flush

Thx Rev, FOAF will do his best to maintain the sterile enviroment for upcoming flushes. So far no sign of bacteria or vert. looks like the big bleach clean up worked :)
