A pin explosion everywhere, also in one of the 4 small casings.

I'm starting to believe in a good harvest.

Two much bigger and deeper casings are still in the incubator for now. I can't wait to see them fruiting too. :D

Oh! The boss compliments my shrooms! Thank you very much, Hippie3.

The print I used was just described as "Cubensis". Here's a photo of the box of the print :

Does anyone know which strain it is exactly?

Some news.

A general view of the first terrarium whom you already know the casings 14 days after I put them in it to fruit :

http://mycotopia.net...=1&d=1175134981

Then, in the second terrarium, 2 other big casings seems now to pin 11 days after I put them in this fruiting chamber :dance::dance::dance: (as you can see, the casing layer has been made with perlite since I was out of vermiculite):

http://mycotopia.net...=1&d=1175134981

And finally, I decided that one of my 2 "very big casings" was ready to go to the FC also since the mycelium is going trough the coco choir I used as a casing layer :

http://mycotopia.net...=1&d=1175134981

This last casing has been built with a 1,5-2 cm layer of boiled perlite, a 6-8 cm layer of 4 colonized jars mixed with 2 sterilized cow manure jars, and a 4-6 sterilized coco choir casing layer. We will see what it gives...

nice looking fruits man. :eusa_clap I have never sterlized manure myself, but I read that it kills all the friendly anarobic bateria that help prevent contams. Hope that works for yah.. I will keep my eyes open. great job so far.

Two general views of the first terrarium before I harvested a first casing (the one in the upper right corner on the first picture) :

http://mycotopia.net...=1&d=1175218723

http://mycotopia.net...=1&d=1175218723

I then made the first prints of my life.

http://mycotopia.net...=1&d=1175218723

An finally harvested this first casing : about 120 grams before washing and drying.

http://mycotopia.net...=1&d=1175218723

The casing has now been spayed generously and I hope it to give me a nice second flush.

Nice work! It's funny how an overheard shot makes the boomers look so much smaller; that angle doesn't show you how tall everything is. Like in your picture, that side view looks like a downtown of shroom skyscrapers!

Great Job !!

What was different about the tray in the bottom left of the chamber that it had a superior pin set and flush ?

Looks like your harvesting for prime potency vs. wieght.

Which caps did you print ? it looks like you harvested before they had a chance to release spores ?

What would you do different ?

What helped you most in your success ?

Thank you very much for your comments!

I'm still investigating the cause of the pinset of the small casing. I suspect that I let them more time to colonize the substrate before putting them into the fruiting chamber.

I don't know the thing with the weight and the potency. This is my first time... I juste harvested when it looked ready. Did I make a mistake?

As for the prints, it seems to be OK. I can see blak spores on the aluminium foil trough the glasses.
