Very sad. It is hard to understand why someone would do this. And the coward goes off kill's himself so he can never explain his actions.

amazes me that no one put a stop to his shooting spree
quicker.
no one should be able to shoot that many
without getting shot back at.

arm yourselves and your family,
learn to shoot accurately
and place your firepower
on their vitals.
don't be a victim/target.

Indeed , Hippie. The day will come when were all going to wish we had firepower, no matter how much anyone hates guns. Arm thyselves Indeed. May Peace and Blessings Be Upon Them, Ras

I don't thing you would be able to attain a permit to have a firearm in a college dorm though. Maybe now you will though.

Indeed hip, 2 shooting sprees 2 hours apart.
i think the count now is 33 dead (including the shooter) and 29ish injured.

Damn.
Thats alot of bullets flying; to say the least.

The deadliest shooting in US history.

Very sad and chilling.

I think the biggest part of the shooting took place in an educational building.
Yea 2 were killed in the dorm, the rest were in a different building.

Maybe it'd be easier to have the professors carry firearms.

in my state
our concealed carry law stipulates that
if you have the permit
and go in a building posted as no concealed weapons allowed, like a school,
there is still no crime being commited.
if you get caught they throw you off premises.
if you get caught 3 times they might suspend your permit for 3 years.
that's it.

i'd take that risk.
recently went to a bar that prohibited weapons,
took a .38 snub right in.
:reb:
better to be judged by 12
than to be carried by 6.

Take a second all, to stop thinking guns and such, to think, how many people will never EVER be able to hug their child/loved one again. And how long a time never again is.

So hug your loved ones, tell them each and every time how much you care. Never let love go unsaid.

Arm yourselves in a different way, put them around someone and HUG.

dwelling on sadness isn't a good idea, imo.

think, how many people will never EVER be able to hug their child/loved one again. And how long a time never again is.

i take it by your words
that you don't believe that
we'll see them again on the other side.
that lack of faith is what is truly sad.

if you really love your family
teaching them how to survive
including using firearms
is far more valuable than a hug.
not that we shouldn't hug, by all means do so
and tell them you love them
and that's why you are teaching them
how to defend themselves
because we can't always be there to protect them.

There was an effort to extend Virginia carry permitage onto campuses, and the schools lobbied to block it, claiming campus police would provide all the protection needed. Student enrollment would be terminated for carry on campus even with a permit. Multiple posts on the topic currently on top at http://armsandthelaw.com/

Actually, I have always believed in the soul, always present, just our bodies are in different forms. But I chose to err on the side of not all having this belief and just saying to love now.

Not being sad. More so, to say, to express the good, the happy, that which you hold close.

No disrespect meant.

Its says a lot for that kind of person to go and shoot up a bunch of helpless people. THey always target those who cant fight back the same way. You never hear of an ass walking into a hunting/gun club and blasting away.
