Not sure what you mean... Mushrooms tear through this stuff. I have seen other grows with bagged composts and have seen very mixed results. This particular brand really works well for me.
Yeah, it really comes down to the company. Many are just plain useless while others work. How well its composted, composition, ingredients, etc. Many variables with bagged.
Congrats on another stellar grow, doobs!

looks great DDD, to bad not too many folk grow the B+ ... thay are so east and gives alot in return.
I've seen the B+ grow on many many things. They were the first strain I ever worked with several years ago. I did them on cakes then, but since, I've seen them perform amazing on compost and have seen some true B+ beasts! I'm very excited and happy about this project. :pirate: :greenboun :cacti:

Thanks. That's why I posted the exact compost I'm using... The stuff is amazing. Mycobri said he's been using it with great results as well. It seems to be the "good shit" lol.

because it dries faster
Perhaps.. it is also closer to the room fan ;) hehe It's not laggin much though, a day if that, but a slight bit. Maybe more to feed or or eat into... The fruits shall tell.

They seem to be growing a lil smallish, and a lil thinish... not dense. The substrate is also a lil wet due to my efforts to keep it humid in there. This combined with the cool temps are not helping. I've taken some garbage bags and lined the tops with them loosely to help seal it up a lil better. Whatever happens, off we go, enjoy the pics. :)
(btw, that's just resin on my lighter... heh, and I dunno what that smudge is in the two pics, must be something on the side of the tub)

i predict the second flush will be even bigger!!
That's a big 10-4. I think that too. Besides the fact that the B+ tosses off huge fruits 2nd round, conditions should improve somewhat. I just do love them cool nice night temps though... not so good for the fruits ;) hah.
Gonna be picking some in a bit, will have more pics then.

Some were picked today already. Very thinnish weak stems (not normal for my B+ grows) and the caps sorta were falling off and splitting a bit. I'm guessing due to the wetter sub. Again, not a problem, no need to mist it heavy between flushes this time. :) Still decent fruits though, and do they stink! WOOO :) hehe They also stained VERY blue where the caps were removed for printing.
These are only gonna get better.

wonder if that stink
might be a function of
bacteria growing in the shrooms
due to excess moisture content.
Nah, it's the normal stink I associate with really nice potent cubbies (Yeah, I know, we already had a thread/debate about smell/potency last year... :) hehe)
