Total weight for the first flush between the two tubs, 88.5g. Not too shabby. :) Over 3oz.

I wasn't seeing pins for a bit so I decided to try something I never tried b4, scraping the top of the substrate layer. My idea was to allow oxygen to directly contact the nice mycelium network below and trigger pins... So far, not much happening.
Right around the same time I did this there were a few fruits on the edges and there was one in one of the tubs. But, that was it... Sorta shocking cuz I have seen these go nuts.
That one fruit is becoming a monster, but I'm wondering what is up. Will keep waiting and see what occurs.
The way I know I'm working with true B+ too is that is does just that. It will make a lot of fruits the first flush, but for whatever reason, on the 2nd flush, there are always far fewer, but they are MUCH MUCH larger. The later flushes after that are varied. But that 2nd is always large and few, sorta how this is going... didn't expect it like this though.
Shall see how it continues to do... The mycelium network is nice and healtyh below, just waiting on it to go boom. ;)

I directly poured a cup and a half of water in each thinking that maybe they were still a lil underhydrated and not pushing up pins... nope. :) The one tub now has an inch of visible water in the bottom. It's not a lot, just a bit looking like a lot cuz of the substrate all in there too... But, that was certainly not the problem.
So, this is perplexing. In the meanwhile I have made up 2 seed trays with a similar compost mix (a lil lime added this time for the hell of it) and B+ rye spawn. So far, looking good, about a week into it.
These should help me see if something is up with the tubs I need to adjust. Basically the same thing, cept the terrarium is a seed tray lid, not the tub itself this time.

Oh, and here is that one B+ fruit I picked from Tub A... Thing doesn't look it, but it weighs in at 4.4grams :) lol

So, not sure what is up, will keep trying to get em going here and rockin. It's been a lil more humid now so to help dry that one with water in the bottom now, the top has been being left off for several hours at a time. It is helping.

lol roc, I dunno what is up with these tubs. My thoughts are that I got the substrate too wet and it's stalled... there ar a few pins poppin up, but I think I made her too wet. hah
I'm still gonna try to get something out of them though.
