They've really colonized the pot too. The plants don't seem to mind either.

either the spores were in the soil mix or they were brought in
thanks for the pics though
It's tough to say Py and yer welcome ;). The plants spent thier vegetive cycle outdoors, however I've never seen these outdoors around here. I believe I've seen them before in older indoor grows..but they never made it to maturity like these did, so I'm willing to bet they are coming in with the mix.
I'm entertaining the idea of trying a combination of Sunshine Mix and coir in a bulk sub situation for cubies. May have to add a little poo or something for good measure. We'll see.......:smokin: It'd be sweet to do a little permaculture!!!
Thanks for the ID Dr D and the nice words..hehe just a lucky guess.
One more note. When these things begin to decay they hide the smell of uh house plants very well. It's kind of a nice mushroomy aroma!
Thanks again everyone!!!

About a week ago I noticed some mold growing in and around the dirt a few days after a good watering. Now about a week later I looked again, and to my surprise i found a yellow mushroom growing next to the base of the HBWR.

Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated. I left the soil and mushroom alone to see if anymore might pop up. If anybody could I.D. the growth that would be much appreciated. just curious. thanks.
