I have to move my jars out of the cabinets they are currently in because of safety issues. So today I went out and bought a clear bin, placed some bubble-wrap in it for insulation and set it near a 150-watt lamp (about 3 feet away). I then placed 3 fully colonized half-pints in the bin, and turned on the lamp to give them light (invitro tek again). I just wanted to get some opinions on whether or not this setup will be alright, so I thought I'd post a picture:

I am currently letting the jars pin at room temperature, but I have a heating pad if needed (the temp. drops to 69 at night, rasises to 74-75 during day)

Looks good just be careful with the heating pad.

Good luck.

temp fluxuates in nature
so this isn't really a problem
heating pads are not generally a good idea
as they can be fire hazard if any weight is placed on them
or if operated for long periods of time
