Just started PR's on 6 of Hippies mycro mix bags by multispore 1cc each. They are incubating at 78 degrees. should see some growth in a few days. plans are to case 3 in mono tub with verm, and use rest to add to bulk castings/verm mix which will be pasteurized by oven in 3 oven bags @170 degrees for 1.5 hours and also placed in mono tubs plan will be to have 4 monotubs in all.
my only question is how much verm/castings i should make for bulk the mycomix bags are 1lb a piece which i was going use 1 per bulk castings/verm mix, it would be nice to know by cups like 1lb spawn to 10-15 cups casting/verm mix.
what does everyone think
thanks

but
fast colonization is critical
so i'd recommend a much more conservative ratio-
like 1 cup spawn to 4 or 5 cups bulk.

4 cups = 1 qt
4 qts = 1 gallon
1.5 gallon = 24 cups
thats not ideal iguess 4cups spawn to 24cups bulk

inserting needle ?
the alcohol doesn't work instantly but takes several seconds at least to kill all germs.

might get by with it on a needle since it's almost sterile
in its sheath
but the outer surface of the bags
must be very 'biologically dirty'
and so you should swab the injection site with alky
then wait 20-30 seconds before injecting.
