OK... No more BS on the topic. of Greenhouse/Room Environment Controlling. I DID NOT LOOK UP THE BEST PRICES, JUST FOUND THE FIRST LINKS I COULD.

AIR EXCHANGE:
Put a fan on a timer to flush the air once an hour. I recommend the Timex digital timer.

It is a BEOTCH to set the first time, but gravy after that.

HEAT and HUMIDITY
Buy one of these Heat and Humiidity controllers:
THE HT-HH-1.

I hook 2 Vicks Ultrasonics and a fan to it for even distribution. I stopped using coolmists because I think I was getting Mildew from them??... maybe not though.
-HEAT
I use heat lights... BE CAREFUL FIRE HAZARD.

AIR CLEANING

I run them w/o the pointy thing on them... You will nee to clean the "electrode"(?) almost daily in a humid environ, vinegar on a qtip works well. Unplug it first or 'snap' on you.

LIGHTING
Use another Timex for lighting, I like christmas lights because they are made for outdoors (high humidity) and can be strung right where you need them. They do give off heat in enclosed aresa... fYI.

Cool. I've been posting the link to that cycle timer for almost two years now. You can get it pre-wired and ready to plug in here http://www.littlegre...controls2.shtml
They also have a pre-wired humidistat that works perfect for closet type grow chambers. I have one connected to two cool mists in my greenhouse. The fan speed control on that same page will throttle down your fan speed so it doesn't dry out your stuff.

I also use that same cycle timer you posted(in the pre-wired version from my link) to control the lighting for my time-lapse videos. If I'm taking shots every twenty minutes, I set my timer to come on for fifteen seconds every twenty minutes. The camera gets it's capture during the last half of the fifteen seconds, so it has time to focus, then the lights go back off so as not to build up excessive heat.

The pick of that humidifier, the blue one, this is what I use. I thought I was getting mildew also after awhile also but a few drops of bleach in each fill and no more build up.
That white cap on top comes off, the round one where the mist comes out of. I make my own cap, out of plastic, just bigger then that whole, and I make 4 holes in it, and 4 - 1/2" dia. hoses are hot glued into them. Each hose goes into a 92 qt tupaware bin. This little unit for 26$ at WallMart is the shit for me. Works marvelous!
