Hello, everyone, I'm new here. I have a request. Does anybody know if spores of Psilocybe semilanceata are available for purchase (or trade) anywhere? I've been querying Sporeworks for over a year and they always say in a few months, in a few months, and it never appears. Much obliged if anybody can help.

The problem with Psilocybe semilanceata is that it grows when the temp is 15C and under there, they also need to be coldshocked what i have read.

the only pace i have ever seen them offered for purchase was sporeworks.

and one other time in a giant 40 print auction here ;)

in fact workman has provided some of the only pics i have seen of them being cultivated
-besides that old black & white textbook pic

hang in there. some day we will figure out the elusive liberty cap :D

well its day three and my friend has definitly got propogation of mycelium on agar.
being the first grow its all abit exciting and all help much appreciated.

i am surprised the contam is not worse considering it was whole stalk placed onto dish, these mushrooms being so small it was impossible to split them and get at clean tissue.

whats the nxt step?
