This is how I prepare and pasteurize poo. The bag looks like a good idea or you can use a monotub.

Lot's of dung teks to be found here.

I like using the 'Forum Jump' feature. You will see it just under and to the left of this post. If you click the arrow and scroll down into 'Deep Knowledge' and click 'Compost, Manure & Dung, Worm Castings' it will take you into some of the threads on this topic that made it to The Vaults.

I love using horse manure, my favorite bulk sub.

Really, you'll just want to follow pasteurization process, then spawn in a clean area.

And pick a way you'd like to fruit the manure substrate :) have fun!

So, either a 50/50 dung/ coir or 50/50 dung/ verm mix would would well if super-spawned?? Hey, couldn't i just sterilize the crap? I know some microfloura will die but should still work if i was leery of trying pasturization just this second... What would the pc time be if cookin it up??:flamer:

Sterilization isn't necessarily recommended simply because of the micro-nutrients you are killing off, but also because sterilized manure can contam easier than pasteurized manure imo. When you sterilize it, its got nothing to fight against contaminants.

You can use your pc to pasteurize also.

Pre hydrate your poo (and you can use straight poo as well) to field capacity.
Load into some quart jars, or oven/myco bags.
Put in pc, (if using bags don't let them touch the sides of pc)
leave vent open, and turn heat on high.
When steam begins to escape from vent, turn stove off
let cool
then use your poo by mixing spawn with it in whatever fruiting environment you have.

That method isn't as precise of course as monitoring temps. during a 1-2 hour pasteurization over a heat source but will work also.

Good Luck :)

Yup, that works good too.

Large amounts done in a cooler is a good way to go imo.
