Nothing real special but keeps me entertained ..heh
First pic is a small bottomless dish with some Cubs
just now pinning..They are growing on top of the much larger Caerulipes bed, which proly wont flush again till Spring..
The second pic is a flush of Pan cyan "sandoze" which
are growing very rapidly in the Summer heat..It's been in the 90's ..This is my second outdoor Pan grow
and find them to be much easier than growing indoors.
As long as it's warm n' well protected ,they do pretty well..These are also on top of a Caerulipes bed that was made entirely from stembutts..
The final pic is of some Pedro cuttings from Bouncing Bear.
They were planted 3 months ago in ordinary garden soil mixed with perlite for good drainage ..
I think they're doing very well so far..Will pot em up in the fall...
So that's what's happening in Golly's Garden..

how did you do the outdoor pans?

beautiful mushrooms and cacti.. wow.. :nunchuck:

you have Golly.
What did you use to start the pan patch?
Keep up the good work my man.

The Fl Pans were whole rice/RGS spawn, mixed 1:2 with pasteurized H poo.
After 2 days the patch was cased with shredded mulch and misted with a hose.
5 days from casing - the pins appeared...
The patch is in a shady spot and fully enclosed with landscape cloth on the bottom and wire mesh on top ...Keeps the critters out...
Looks like this pic from last year...

Not only can mushrooms be more potent outdoors, but they look cool. :headbang:

This strain appears to fruit well from multispore ,compared to others.. Stems have a fair amount of meat..
So thanx to Sandoze and Sporeworks for this excellent offering...

From the first time pins were observed to spore laden harvest in only 48 hrs.
Meanwhile the Cubes are still put putting along..heh..

i wanna try that strain sometime!
is that san pedro so funky lookin because you cut some of it before? what is san pedro like? most people get san pedro confused with peyote here
Posted 05 August 2007 - 09:08 PM
pans are a species - not a strain
although there are a few strains of pans.
this one is the sandoze,
also there is cambo, goliath, vietnamese- to name a few.

most people get San Pedro confused with Peyote here
maybe YOU do
but MOST people here
know better, they look nothing alike.
but both do share one feature,
they both contain mescaline.
san pedro is legal, peyote is not.

The Pedro's are funky in spots because of the way they were cut b4 shipping to me..Ideally the cut should be more of a pyramid shape to counter the shrinkage in in the center as it dries...[thats what i read anyway.]
