My ter. Is just a poor mans box. Wanted to start small untill I get it down b4 I invest some real money. Making a new incubation chamber cuz the one I have dosent hold even temp throughout. As for my ter. I took it from my grow room and put it in my bedroom in front of a wiondow. As for my cakes (there are 2 of them amd dec) they are fuzzy all over no fruits is this do to the lighting I was using. Im unsure, never got fruits b4 this is my very first time. Don't know if the cakes are doing well or if the move is the best. Please inlighten me.

Sounds like they are getting enough light. The white fuzz is normal, its mostly form high humidity and with cakes thats is a desire. Keep fanning and doing what your doing. You should have knots in no time.

Thanks again. But yet again another question. I've been keeping my cakes onthe same cycle as my plants 18 hrs per day. Is this too much light?

Alright, first post on mycotopia, and hopefully not my last.
Here goes.
I currently have a setup which looks like this in my closet(i'm going for inconspicuity)
Posted Image
The top tub has a cool mist, the two bottom tubs are fruiting chambers
Perlite lines the bottom of both tubs, and there are four tubes which connect the tubs. For air exchange I run a cool mist 12x a day, and humidity stays between 90-93%. I currently have a multitude of projects running in the two chambers, because I had concerns over which combinations of casing and bulk substrates I should use.
Posted Image
I have four trays of coir/worm poo/straw pellets which are getting close to either being cased or fruited directly from the substrate.
Posted Image
I have two main concerns. My first question is whether these four trays I have should be cased. Just how much would casing affect yield when I have two moisture-holding materials already in the mix(coir and straw)?
My second question pertains to the lighting I currently have. The lamp in the top picture is the only light source I currently have. Will this light source be suffiently large enough to induce pinning, or should I go with another light source, one within the tubs?
Any answers would be very much appreciated.

your light will be fine.
mushrooms need very little to trigger pinning.

I know that shrooms don't photosythesize and are able to pin from indirect light on a low level even. I have a question though. If someone were trying to be stealthy would a flashlight inside of the FC be sufficient?

Want stealth. Use a LED setup. Look it up in the vaults. Very economic and flexible. Also generates very low heat.

Hope it helps.

Your light is fine, it is surprising
how little light is needed to trigger pinning.

Turning the light on for just a split second will trigger pinning.
Welcome!
