Hey guys
Im only trying to spend maybe 200 bucks (preferably 150) to get some kinda ma-chine to shred straw for me
can any one help me?
i cant seem to find anything on the web

take a large garbage can w lid cut a hole large enough to put a weed eatter in there vola

I buy "straw mulch" from a local feed store for $5.00 a bale. I comes cut in 1"-2" pieces its perfect!

Alright! Ebays got one up for $110, ima go for it.

Im gonna call my local feed mill tho and see if they have mulched straw first

personally I would get a small 5-6hp wood chipper/shredder. Check your local craigslist for great deals. You should be able to find a good running one for $150-$200. I believe I saw some people werent gettting a good chop with the flowtrons and had to run it through several times. A wood chipper can shred a bale in like 2-3 minutes. I wouldnt ever ever try to chop any ammount of straw with a weedwacker in a trashcan a single more time in my whole life. Talk about a PITA. Sounds easy but once implemented..........I would rather have lobsters chew my balls.
