whats your fruiting temps?
and how thick is your casing layer?

temps are a little high close to 80-85"F
casing is about 2.5 cm/1/4"
is it ok to patch with str8 verm
just wet n patch?

yeah you can,
I would think that with higher fruiting temps
the mycel would just grow through the casing agiain tho. Maybe patch and lower the temps if
at all possible.

of the tub
it still wont fruit arrgh!

I'd take that plastic off catfish. Let it breath some. You can always regulate those vents in the lid with tape if the container's loosing too much moisture.

11 days
now its got no plastic wrap on it
since i tried to induce fruiting
its just too dry i guess

Does not look to dry. Usually takes 10-14 dys before knots start forming. Give it a few more days.

it is way too dry
the cake was pulling
away form the sides
i coulda birthed it
but i wanna see this thru
i soaking it today
you can see the water level
and how much the cake dried

heres aftter the soak
been saturating the casingn
until it rehydrates the upper part
of the cake that
was above the waterline
by spraying
has cooled off quite a bit here
so the temps should be down
at least 15 degrees F
it underneath an open wiindow
