This motha popped up from my isolated strain of Redboy. I'm definitely putting this one on agar to see the deal here. The spores are nice and red and the fruitbody is solid as wood nearly. This strain may indeed be a good one! :D

The flush was hellacious. I've nearly mastered this technique to the point I can get nearly 5 pounds per/square foot with this isolate. It's a testy technique though. Very difficult believe it or not, even with cubensis.

You the man Laz,

python would love to have all those veins added to his physique..lol
Those are gnarly man, especially the vein looking stem...that mutha is huge. Solid too huh, damn. The one next to it isnt no peewee either.
How long is that one.
Nice job man, I know you did your home work on those massive dogs.

It's not the isolate, it's the skills. :)

Paul Stamets says that a master cultivator should be able to acquire 7lbs./square foot outdoors with cubensis. I just don't see how it's possible, indoors or outdoors.

I don't know how I steered this thread in this direction, but I did it. This thread is for the mushroom in the pictures.

So now that i've diverted the thread to high yield, I will say that I can average 20-25 dry ounces/per bin on a good flush. So now that i've put myself out there, i'll show you guys how I do it. I can't say that you'll have the same success, as i'm still learning to push the envelope consistently myself.

My goal is to hit the 7lbs./square foot Stamets says a master can do outside. F that, I want to be able to do it indoors.

I have this tub re-cased right now and if doesn't contaminate on me, lets see what I can get out of it. The first flush was nice, but the mushrooms were really tall and thin. I must've under watered it because I only added around a 1/2 quart and usually add around a gallon for watering of the casing. I just wanted to see if it would perform around the same as a heavy watering and would fruit quicker.
