After sittin fer a spell - i will drain most of the water then add about 20% dry verm for rez effect and to achieve proper hydration..
Will be divided between Trops n' Cubs spawn..

2nd n' 3rd pic is about 36 hours later..There is no hesitation in the leap off, on to the grass..
Essentially, we're just cutting out the middle man - Cow or compost pile in this case..
Even the still green grass is being consumed...

if you aren't a horse or a cow with multiple stomachsSomeone should try to eat lawn grass for a week and use their poo for a sub and see if it will work. I dont think i want to be the guinea pig for this one though.
it ain't going to work.

If your using a high sub to spawn ratio like 5:1 or more, then pasteurizing at 160F may be better..I go about 4:1 so the grass is consumed b4 mold can establish...

Chamber is running cool but the Trops still pulled through..Falbino's are
quite fascinating and seem to like plane ol'e grass n' weeds too..The pic shows a side fruiting Falbino
that is about 5% colored..They come in mixed percentages of color ,which makes 'em
fun to watch..
Also testing another species ,Ps. Hispanica for adaptability to the grass substrate..
So far they're colonizing well ..i'll post a pic ltr...
