Hi all,

Before I get too far into the grow I wanted to start a log for the two Pan strains I have Colo'ing at the moment. I received a couple Texas Copelandia prints from Mycobri:bow:, I made a syringe with 1 print and nocced up 9 Waylit poo Jars and LC to boot. Just in case something goes awry I have a 2nd print as backup (I understand these are rare).

Then the LGFCY, I received the print from vinz:bow:. Im sure you all have seen the LGFCY pics from vinz as they were Pics of the Month for August. :kewl: I nocced up 3-1/2 pint jars of LGFCY with a MS syringe (thats my ratio 3-1/2 pints to spawn to some pasteurized bulk in a 8 qt sterilite shoebox container).

My goal with the Texas Copes is to get an assload of prints to donate and perserve its lineage. The only grow I have seen with these was Mycobri's with radel/cyano cakes. I will be trying a bulk sub to get sporulation by getting large, mature fruits.

The LGFCY is pretty well preserved and is offered by almost every respectable spore vendor. I just want to play with it .

Pics to follow soon.

Pics as promised, the LGFCY's are about 2 weeks along and the Texas Copes were nocced up this last Saturday. Im surprised that I see germination this soon with a MS syringe.

Thank you friends!

Im having some issues with the texas copes germinating evenly, its been about a week since inoculation. I plan on doing up another LC with the remaining print, the first has yet to show any fluff in the jar. No worries though :) Ill just try another route  I do have germination in some of the jars though  and those are the last 2 pics.

The LGFCY jars are showing insane growth, I will be spawing them to a bulk of Coir/verm/straw/poo in an approximate 20/20/10/50 ratio today. Ill include some pics.

I've been having somewhat of the same problem 'Fed'....

Only have half of the innoculation points have growth with the texas strain.
Noced up three more jars to see if it's going to happen again...,lc qould be a good experiment for sure..!

I am definitely going to attempt a Karo LC again with alot more spore solution. I have lids that need to let set until tomorrow to let the silicon cure. Here are some pics from me spawning the LGFCY to the aforementioned sub. :headbang:

I did up a Karo LC with a magnetic stir bar inside. I finally have germination of the Texas Copes in an LC. The 1/2 pint jars are the Texas Copes showing the spotty germination, but they are growing very thick myc. I havent seen myc this thick from Copes.

I cased the LGFCY with the Waylit Casing tek, I went very thin and misted well. I have heard great things of LGFCY from MS inoculations. I found a misplaced Pan Viet Jar fully colonized where I usually put my unused jars.

Man!!! that LGFCY strain rocks!!!:headbang:

They started to pin while still in incubation  This forced me to put them in the FC so they could get proper FAE and RH. I definitely recommend LGFCY/Sandoze/Pan Tropicalis for its ease of use.

 Pin Dance

In the meanwhile, its about time to stir the Texas Cope LC.

Some LGFCY pics, they grow so friggin fast!

Pinning on the sides is due to the holes on the top of the container being around the edge during incubation.
