I have an update on the Texas Cope LC. I bubbled the LC this morning with a small air pump. I used the rubber part of the plunger for a syringe and drilled a hole through the rubber then shoved the air line through. I pushed this into an airport syringe and inserted it into my LC and put another normal airport in the other injection port, and proceeded to bubble. When bubbling I noticed alot of myc had grown overnight, and even more spores have germinated. I will have pics soon of the LC. I stirred it for about 30 min this morning after bubbling. LC recipe is the normal red Karo 4% by volume.

Thanks All

I am proud to show you some pics on the progress of the Texas Cope LC I nocced on 10/13 with a MS syringe. As you can see the Texas Cope germination is a bit tempermental at times. I will have to spawn the 2 Texas Cope cakes that are closest to done next week to a Bulk of h-poo, verm, coir and straw.

A special thanks to Mycobri ,

Yes sir, I got it off of ebay +/- $22 for 6 x (1 1/8"L x 3/4"W octahedral) Works great, I owe you the credit for the idea and the plate:bow:. The only shame is, as soon as you know how well they work you need more.:o

By no stretch of the imagination the Texas Cope Myc is much thicker than any Pan I've worked with. I am going to spawn this week given the rapid growth recently. The LC is very chunky I will include pics later today. Looks like things are turning out well. I will post some pics of the LGFCY's a little later as well.

Bubblers in the fruiting chamber do not have to be HEPA filtered, but those leading into a LC do. Did your pump have a HEPA? If not, that might be where the contam MrMycelium pointed out came from. Sounds like a nifty grow you have going.
