alright topians, very pumped about this grow. all of these strains popped out at me like the wizard of oz to an epileptic on acid.:headbang: from the last grow i have enough material left to do one sandbag per strain of sheer badassery.
everything is the same as last time around.

i've had the myco bags inccubating for four days now @ 83 degrees and the mycellium has already begun to chow...very exciting...the only problem i had last time was a touch of verticillium, but i have scrubbed my incubating area with bleach water...so hopefully i have taken care of it. wish me luck, i'll post as the magic happens...:headbang:

for this task i have employed 10 myco bags. i have set aside three bags for PE, three bags for BANG PHANG KA, two for Z-STRAIN, and two for F+. it is generally ideal IMO to add at least three myco bags or cakes to seven pounds of substrate. i didn't because i don't have enough material...oops. the F+ are said to be extremely large in size, and the Z-STRAIN is said to be a very agressive and prolific fruiter; so they will hopefully be fine on two myco bags.

i am about a week into this project and ALL of the myco bags are 2/3 colonized. i began noticing growth in several at day 4 @ 83-85 degrees. when i noticed this, i broke up every bag (even the ones that showed no growth at all). the following day they were "all on the same page" so to speak. growth could be observed in all 10 myco bags. i broke them up again the following 3 days, and also squeezed the gases out of the bag completely. i then left them alone for three days and whalah. i broke them up again today, and this maybe the last time i need too. i have and will however; continue to squeeze the gases out of the bags at least once everyday.



once full colonization on the outside of all of my spawn can be observed; i will wait 4-5 days before putting them to my bulk substrate...

every one of my myc bags has been infected with trich...the tops of each one had dark green growth on them.

other than that they looked great...95 percent pure white with good myc so...i am attempting to save them.

i took them to another location, (outside my home), removed them from there bags, cut out the trich, and dunked them all in bleach water for forty-five minutes, wrapped them in saran wrap and put them in the fridge to stall them b4 i put them to their substrate in about a week or so...

HIPPIE 3, and any other guru's...i would like ur thoughts on this...good or bad thanks guys...:dead::dead::dead:

I had what I thought was trich once..almost the same scenario as yours 95%+ colonized and some bluish green lookin spots on the top..It turned out to be either bruising or dehydration(not trich)..you sure it was trich?

yes it was trich...no spots...just like 1/3 of the top layer of each bag was dark green...

pulled the little guys out of i.c.u. for a photo op.
they seem to be doing well...they will be spending two more days in the fridge, then i will be dunking them in soy milk, and, or, just tap water...just depends on how froggy i get. i will then be putting them to bulk sub...

i was a bit ashamed of this little bit of crazy mcguyvery...but here it is...my dirty lil seceret...

one piece of tp...on the backs of each one...they spend most of the day piled on top of one another in a big blue bowl in the bottom of a fridge so i take them out and let them breath properly for about an hour or so each day...

because of all this jostling them about...i will be doing a follow up bleach dunk b4 putting them to substrate ...
