bottom layer of verm, adding WBS as well as more verm, 50% wbs 50% verm according to the rez effect tek.

lil bit of polyfill thru the holes in the handles (factory holes) to give em a lil bit of breathing.

Covered in tinfoil for incubation, then I will add a casing layer when this is ready.... Should be mid-week to late week when i get to do that.

I tell u what, the smell of these jars were just beautiful, i mean BEAUTIFUL!! They smelled just like fresh mushies ready to be picked!! Cant wait to see the monsters that come from this.......

Gotta get me a cool mist humidifier for this tub, since my old tek of bleach water with a bubble stone will not work with an application of this magnitude. That will be on wednesday that i pick up those items (cool mist, tubing, silicone, etc)........

wouldnt be surprised if that tub didnt require humidification, and if you're talking about those tiny holes at the handles.. that might not be much fae?

Yup a cool mist isn't neccesary IMO. I agree on the holes too.. you prob need more and I would make em lower down towards the level of the sub.

since some have recommended against a cool mist humidifier, what about this idea, an airport/airbox feeding into a sealed bleach water chamber, creating fae & humidity, pumped into the grow tub. since its a small pump with small lines, with a digital timer hooked up on the powersource, full control of levels can be had easily. The airport/airbox doesnt feed fae & humidity as much as the cool mist.

You can use bleach, but H2O2 makes more sense and works great. Should Hydrogen Peroxide leech into your fruiting chamber, most of it will turn into water and oxygen.

cased, and put into fruiting mode. cant wait till i get some pins :)

here are some pics of the redneck style FAE/humidity/light setup in my closet. everything is on a digital timer plugin, 2 hours on, 2 hours off. If I get too much humidity/fae, i can just set the timer different.

looks good bro...but i agree that the humidifier isn't necassary. i also believe less than half of those pints would have easily done the job here, also some polyfil holes on top would work some wonders for ya too IMO...goodluck bro:headbang:

peroxide breaks down to water too quick and though it is good cuz of the oxygen it is still just water after it separates and it will grow nasty cray shortly....the agitation will probably make it degrade faster.

i added those holes on the side, filled them will polyfill, and kept them low for co2 emission.
