In regard to the pf tek and having problems with cobweb?? Was that during colinisation or during fruiting.
Cobweb is very rare in jars. Mould in jars that were properly sterilised usually got in there at inoculation. Cobweb during fruiting could be an indication of lack of FAE (cobweb likes still stale air)
The pics of the broken up pf tek are very blury, but its looks like your substratre was far to wet, this will slow colinisation and stall it. Also the btis you talk of not being colinised will be compacted peices of substrate..
The pf cake mix should be light and fluffy, it should have a floury colour to it, not dark and sticky.
You dont need FAE in colinisation jars, just gas exchange, which is usually via the 4 inoc holes (also if you inoced with just 1 holes it might take a while, unless it was an LC)
Good luck with the WBS seems like your having better luck

do you think i should try the LC on a jar of wbs? it seemed to work for you jumping
PR's from BRF to wbs..
