whats up guys...i've not had a computer lately....:(....
but i'm able to post a little mycoporn today for you guys
and to show once again that strawlogs can be reused
to get up to 3 or 4 flushes..maybe even more than that...

multi-spore was used( 2.5 year old syringe..GT..) to
inocculate 4 quarts of HWWB(my favorite grain tp use)
i waited 14 days for full colonization....and was then made
into one 18 inck straw log and one 8 inch straw nugget...
i then waited 20 days(or until invitro pinning has occured)
to birth the log and nugget into a 31 quart rubbermaide
container..fanned 4 times a day until first flush was harvested

first flush from log and nugget
5.5 dry ounces
(pics not shown...no computer and no digi..sorry)

i then proceeded to give them a nice peroxide dunk
for one hour. the straw log and nugget were then torn apart and
put into the bottom of the same 31 quart rubbermaide
and mixed with storebought composted manure mixed 50/50
with vermiculite( everything was pasturized for 1.5 hours in
hotwater bath with lime) i made sure to pack it real tight and have
an even casing layer(very important to pack it down good and even
on the top..IMO) it was then cased with 50/50 peat/verm/lime.

casing was patched, maintained, and fanned until pins started forming
from then on water was directly injected into the casing with 20ml
syringe(used about three cups worth of water every two to three days
and misted every once in a while)

took about a week from pinning to mature mushie's....i'm going for a third
flush from the bin right now that i can already see forming...lol....this method
of reusing the straw logs is so economocal to me...it blows my mind..lol...
i would really suggest that someone who were to use strawlogs try this
method out...it worked very well for me as you can see by the pics......

second flush
5.5 dry ounces

currently waiting on a third flush
(i will keep this thread updated..:).)

That is multiple, multi-spore logs that made that bin?

Waiting on first flush of GTs here. Now I know what to look for. I'm just now getting my first pins on PF cakes.
I knocked up a honey jar and now have GT going in PF jars, straw/worm poo cakes, a straw log, mini LB, some jethro tek pints and a big straw cake in a bucket.
I have 7 more honey syringes and 15 more PF jars to knock up tomorrow, that'll leave me 4.
I hope these things invitro.
Been achieving full colonization in less than 2 weeks with 2cc.

PJ, Sweet tub!! You guys have me getting excited about these tub grows. That is an awesome flush!

Now I know what to do with my straw logs post 1st flush. Do you think the h202 is better for dunking then the 200/1 bleach dip/dunk? Just wondering why you do what you do cuz its obviously working!
Hey, I still owe you a pfc print. I've got some going now and will get a print to ya as soon as I am able! Peace!
