Well how bout some more info? Like what will you do when 100% colonized? I suggest sandbag or case, but go wild. And I would say those look ready to shake to me, at least I shake about then.

I plan to use the mushroom-man log tek with a mixture of verm and straw.. The logs will be 4" in diameter and about 36" long and encased in a "drain field sock liner"... Hatching these "dragon eggs" will be done in a clear storage tub lined with peralite... I guess I'm looking for help for spawn mixture for the log. Will introducing additives such as poo raise the stakes for contamination? If I "do poo" what type work best for log applications? Cow, horse or worm?

My bad for the lack of info in the opener... I guess I should stop trying to ask and just ask... LOL!!

most omit any poo for straw logs
but you might soak the straw in poo water to prep it for pasteurization .

Your jars look good,,I see you put a bit of verm in for moisture control, proly a good move..U may find that they are easier to shake up if they are not quite so full..Anyhoo ,should work fine..
Not much poo is normally used in logs because they are compressed pretty good and the
shiit may get too compacted..
