Ok so lately my friend swim has been casing these Hefty Ez-foil roasting pans, there pretty big and are made to cook turkeys and shit in (see image 1 below). They cost about 3.99 or something and come with this cover thats swim never uses. This time swim thought he would try something different and modified the top into a fruiting chamber. Its not going to be big enough to support them their whole lives, but he figured it would be a good idea for pin forming, its perfect humidity and the air exchange in one of these is awesome. First thing he did was melt 2 holes into the top of the cover, its important that you melt the covers and not try to poke something through or cut them, the plastic will crack and u will not get your desired shape. Swim placed one fish tank hose in the top pointing straight down and one on the side around the same high to move the air around that being pushed in from the top, so that all the case gets air and not just the middle. These holes were silicone sealed airtight (image 2). These are fed to tropic air type humidifier, below in image 3 is one made from a mason jar and air stone. Its important that you have a filter in between your air stone and your case! Because the hoses are right on top of your cases you DO NOT want water to drip out of them, so a filter is made to only allow air through (image 4)below is link to a post of mine on how to make one of these filters. Image 5 is the final product, with some holes stuffed will polyfil to allow air to be pushed out. Duct tape is also ran along the bottom of the cover to make sure it was airtight to the tin.

sweet, i have a few of those pans also, havent done anything with them yet...... my 4 tier greenhouse should be here next week, which is in time for birthing some casings :) sweet improvising :)
