I don't mean in the minute that they're growing. Ha. I know these are time lapsed, it's in the title.
:D
What I mean is, how they grow so large over the two days indicated by the timestamp. Mine take much longer to reach maturity. And it seems like quite a few of them seem to abort. I can't quite grasp why.

Hmm...
I'm currently working with EQs and GTs. GTs are just incubating. I've gone through around 10 1'x1' trays of EQs, where once pins are set it takes close to two weeks for mature fruit.
The size and yield also seem to be an issue here. Many pins are aborting and final mature fruit significantly smaller than one would expect.
I'm using Popcorn as a substrate, rez tek once jars are colonized, and verm as casing. Casing is misted until pins form. RH in the fruiting chamber falls between 93% and 96%, and the temp steady around 60F. Daily light exposure. The RH is kept up by pumping air into the chamber into a glass of distilled water. Even with fresh air entering the chamber, I fan it twice daily.
I'm just beginning to clone some of the bigger fruit that I've picked so far. Maybe that will make a difference.

Fruiting temp is 60F.
I'll try more FAE holes. If that's a no go, I'll go with your other advice.

well if ur asking me it's constantly fluctuating...right now i'd say 75 or so...

Temps affect maturation of fruits greatly
yes indeed... i incubate @ 83 degrees and then when i' ready to fruit i drop it ten degrees and keep it there...do u do this as well oib, or do u do something different?

Maybe I'm fruiting too cold...?
Definitely checking out the sandbagging tek as we speak.
